I read somewhere that it's supposed to be a kind of olive branch to Forever 29 subscribers, and it feels half-baked.

I think it's just a standalone app, not a plugin.

Plugin Alliance Mastering Suite:

I installed on my test system just to see and it is standalone only, no plugin version.

I'm not a huge fan of installation managers but the PA manager is pretty useful here since I own so many of their plugins.

The manager is only 5 megs in size and can be uninstalled from Settings/Apps (on Windows, not sure about the Mac equivalent) when you're done using it then reinstalled when needed. Rinse and repeat.

I won't use the Mastering suite since I own all the PA plugins that make it up and it would be better for me to do my own mastering tasks.

Well, that's the problem with second-hand information. I guess no one here is buying or talking. I think it was a single-bundled license with the last IK Humble Bundle.

19 days to go, so I'm sure we'll know something by then. I'll pick up the bundle if I can't find any benefactors, but it's all dupes for me except for what I listed and the Pianoverse models.

I didn't post this one in the No Chat thread because I'm not entirely sure that it's a killer deal. APD has a bundle deal for Amplitube 5 + Tonex for $50 for one day. But it doesn't say which versions of each. I already have almost all of the bits of A5 Max from past group buys, but would be interested in upgrading to Tonex Max from Tonex SE at this price.

Right now, IK has only two versions for sale on their site, the free TonexCS and Tonex Max. But the pics on APD's site don't reflect this, and SE has repeatedly flickered in and out of existence as a purchasable item, rather than just being linked to buying their hardware.
