I may be missing something, but I don't see any factory presets (there is a folder shown in the manual for factory presets, but I don't see it here). Do these need to be downloaded separately?
Thanks in advance!

On the Audio Damage Discord, Chris Randall said that there are no presets for Circa. The section in the manual is an error.

I installed Mobius 3, and as far as I'm concerned, it totally satisfies most of my Echoplex Digital Pro style looping needs, which the RC series takes a subset of the EDP's features. The only really unique thing it does is the variable speed loop playback in that multi-track context, but as you mention, Enso does the variable speed thing. I'm not sure I need that trick in both contexts. If I want it, I feel it's fine just owning Enso, which I won't use as much as I do a Mobius or an MSuperlooper. So... maybe if it goes on sale, but I don't feel a strong urge to buy it now. I just don't use that loop speed thing all that much.bharris22 wrote: Sat Apr 19, 2025 8:37 pmI agree with this take. I spend lots of money on plugins, but trying the demo of this I just wish it was less expensive - maybe even a crossgrade discount for owners of Enso. I like what I have seen so far, but as it is, I feel like seeing how close I can get by loading six instances of Enso in Reaper, at which point my "need" for Circa would diminish significantly.zerocrossing wrote: Fri Apr 18, 2025 3:26 am I do like Circa, but I'm not sure I $90 like it. I got a pretty cool thing going on where I was playing the loop speed into the delay and reverb, but how often will I do that? I feel like it's a $50 plugin. Maybe I'll play with it some more tomorrow and see if my feelings change. I used to do audio looping all the time, almost exclusively. Then when I was doing game music, I kind of stopped for a few years, but maybe now that I'm unemployed, I'll get back into it.

Thanks for the heads up. I missed the email, but it was in my inbox. I bought it. I can justify $59 for it, even though I still feel like it sort of feels like a $39 dollar value to me because of the way I use looping software.Alchemedia wrote: Sat Apr 19, 2025 9:04 pmThere is a $30 crossgrade disc for Enso owners.bharris22 wrote: Sat Apr 19, 2025 8:37 pmI agree with this take. In other news, I heard back from Randall, there is a crossgrade path from Enso licenses purchased at PB. Due to some restrictions placed on them in regard to PB customers, the coupon will become accessible to you when you update to the latest version.
Seems like PB has not rolled out that update yet or something...
Anyway, I have not gotten it to work as yet, I will report back when I know wtf is going on with it, so stay tuned if you bought Enso at PB and want to crossgrade to Circa...

So, basically there is a $30 off coupon for those who own Enso, even if purchased at PiB.
Reportedly, it’s supposed to be accessible in the latest update, which I don’t think they (PiB) rolled out yet. If you don’t want to wait for that, get ahold of AD and let them know, they
should hook you up.

Thanks for posting pekbro, because it reminded me to check out the App Store, and Circa is finally available.
I just bought and I’m hoping to try it out later with the CBA pedals & iPad if I can have a healthy signal chain working.

I have Enso, bought at AD it seems. Never got to see any coupon ( or i just clicked it away)
so i need to install the latest version of Enso first ?
1. from where ? can´t find *anything* on their shit page. I see my order, if i click it, there is a: "show digital items" field, then it wants me to log in again, + asking for a order #.....i have that all. Nothing. bo further action happens, no fresh download of enso for me.
also nozthing from within my installed Enso plugon.
2 so, what´s my path to my coupon, i don´t get it

the last time i tryed i still could not CC map anything to a GUI control that let me control the "REC" - "Stop" function by HW.
But i´m also still not sure which GUI controls are the ones to CC map to.
anybody is controling it by HW ? how ?

As far as I can see, and I may be missing something, because of the combined functions of the Play/record/overdrive you can't map the midi to a footswitch in any meaningful way. Shame, I use Mslooper but it is such an ugly uninspiring interface.
