This is a great new product and is very impressive.
Just a couple of questions :
- When is the iPad version being released and will I have to pay for this again like other, older SB products that are iOS/MacOS compatible? Some developers are making their plugins available as MacOS and iOS, but only charging the consumer once.
- will there be an update so that the various engines can be freely assignable to each of the 8 channels, as this would unlock a lot of power potential in the app?
Thank you and best wishes
James

Hi James, the apps will need to be purchased separately. The engines being singular is a design decision which cannot be reverted, sorry if these things are not ideal.jimbog wrote: Tue Apr 22, 2025 9:23 am - When is the iPad version being released and will I have to pay for this again like other, older SB products that are iOS/MacOS compatible? Is there any hope for Multi-out becoming per instance rather than global? It is very cumbersome to have to change the setting every time I change sequences that use it differently, plus not being able to use it both ways in a single sequence.
Another note: I am noticing some sonic glitches when closing the plugin.
That said (and maybe a couple more little things I'm sure I'll get around to complaining about!), I am loving Dialekt and spending way too much time playing with it. It reminds me a bit of how it was with ReBirth (but far more sophisticated and powerful), hours of creative fun making up cool patterns.

Please check the upcoming 1.0.1 update. We changed something here. If that does not solve your problem, please describe your usecase in detail.tonycore wrote: Thu Apr 24, 2025 2:13 pm Is there any hope for Multi-out becoming per instance rather than global? Thanks for liking Dialekt!

Thanks for your response, and no problem, I understand.Sugar Bytes wrote: Thu Apr 24, 2025 9:48 amHi James, the apps will need to be purchased separately. Are there any plans to make the various engines become freely assignable to any of the tracks, or will they stay fixed as they are now?

The track architecture is fixed, this cannot be changed currently. You can still use several instances in your daw though.

I don't get MIDI out from the standalone or plugin. Is that a limitation of the demo? I see MIDI export is disabled in the demo version, but I don't see how to assign MIDI out to an IAC bus or how to get MIDI into another Ableton track.

Midi out is working in the demo, we just tested it working.Jimmy34742 wrote: Wed Apr 30, 2025 2:50 pm I don't get MIDI out from the standalone or plugin. Is that a limitation of the demo? I had sort of given up on SB (I own a bunch) when they tend to go abondonware, but I bit the bullet and am enjoying Dialekt.. Please keep evolving this SB.

Also, make sure there are no plugins after Dialekt on its track.Sugar Bytes wrote: Fri May 02, 2025 9:03 amMidi out is working in the demo, we just tested it working.Jimmy34742 wrote: Wed Apr 30, 2025 2:50 pm I don't get MIDI out from the standalone or plugin. Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.
