Hello there! While I am waiting to have my developer page on KVR, I would like to share this little max for live device I made:
HyperSplash is a plug-and-play Max for Live device that generates glitches and foley sounds through randomized functions. Use the [Chaos] button to create a continuous stream of sounds that you can edit afterward, or trigger individual sounds via MIDI notes. When you find a sound you like, save it as a preset and easily integrate it into a Drum Rack or other setups. It's also coming with 24 presets.
You can DL it at: https://coriolislab.gumroad.com/l/hypersplash (3$ or more if you want)

To be more accurate, you can DL it at gumroad if you pay at least $3 for it. Its not a lot, but not sure why you'd not be transparent that you're asking money for this.

I don't know if I'm horrified or hyped.
A little bit of both I suppose!
Edit:
So I bought this and it's of course fantastic. The circuit board is a whole instrument unto itself.

This is a very useful effect for creating one shots, and giving new life to old loops. Well done, you have my support!Coriolis Lab wrote: Tue Apr 22, 2025 2:26 pm Hello there! While I am waiting to have my developer page on KVR, I would like to share this little max for live device I made:

Both of these tools seem incredibly inventive, but 38€ (MIDIseq) / 28€ (Irys) are price levels that are about 50-70% higher than I'd expect for an Ableton-only tool. Especially as prices for new VSTs have been dropping like crazy in recent years. There is rarely one above 100€ anymore.
Comparable commercial M4l devices would be priced around 15-25€ (which I would still consider expensive). Just my two cents. Again, both seem well-designed and inventive, but I'd reconsider the prices.

Please list some of those comparable M4L devices, that's what this thread is for.jules99 wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 8:12 amComparable commercial M4l devices would be priced around 15-25€
