Amplifier with linear mode?

Hi, I think that is would be convenient to add an amplifier module (or option to current one), with linear path, that is, when using a Multi Point Envelope Generator module, the result respect to what is seen on MPEG graph.
Currently with Amplifier module it just distort it due the decibel logarithmic path that is hardcoded.
Yeah i tried Modluation mapper to fix it but is not enough due that the complexity of MPEG and othe like ADSR that it has its own curves.

What are you trying to achieve? Do you just need to control gain applied to a signal? Can you modulate the gain on a mixer strip to get the effect you're after?

I want to be sure that "what you see is what you get" is present on my workspace, so that being reflected on this software. I wanted to make an emulation of old digital linear ADSR for... some chiptune synth but the result was not expected.pljones wrote: Thu Apr 24, 2025 4:28 pm What are you trying to achieve? To get an idea, I what i found as a linear amplifier was the plugin from Kilohearts GAIN on % mode. So my proposal would be an another module or (if it can) a linear mode on the well known Amplifier module.
Yes, I know and I love the exponential curve but sometimes a linear one would be handy too

This is what I'm talking, the desired behavior is found on kHs Gain (%)
see for yourself, I made a copple of MUX's to keep into account

Use an Audio Balancer 2->1, send your signal to Gain2, set Gain1 to 0 and use Balance as your volume pot.
Set the X-Fade to your desired curve. Linear would be Triangle Wave, 2 Quarters and Start Quarter = -1

Many thanks AndreasD! that did work, only i have to set the offset on modulation cable to -50 to center it. that is for that case only
then the rest is a chesse
Solved.
