Ordered from ADSR and did not receive the loyalty credits I'm supposed to (1 credit per $5 for each purchase)---did they stop giving them out? Would not have ordered from them if I'd known that. It's been nine days.

I've gotten a few credits through the years, but never bothered with them. Aren't they redeemed through their Sample Manager?Ou_Tis wrote: Sat Apr 26, 2025 10:33 pm Ordered from ADSR and did not receive the loyalty credits I'm supposed to (1 credit per $5 for each purchase)---did they stop giving them out? Yes, they're just for samples and loops in the sample manager. Not seeing them in the sample manager, and my account on the website says "0 credits". Emailed support.telecharge wrote: Sat Apr 26, 2025 10:40 pm

Maybe try logging out of both the website and Sample Manager, clear cache, cookies, temp files, etc., then log in again.Ou_Tis wrote: Sat Apr 26, 2025 10:43 pmYes, they're just for samples and loops in the sample manager. Ok, after watching ADSR credits peculiar behavior for rather a long while... sometime ago, recently, decided to find out what to make of these, but the search soon transformed into a rabbit hole that lasted a couple of weeks, to finally realize that those have NONE, ZERO use for me.
Actually the convoluted and involved process to obtain something from them, for sure renders it a no go zone for most people and therefore what some customers could reasonably call a misleading marketing scheme.
After several emails and hours of app usage deciphering (because there's not a single youtube video or online tutorial to teach how to use the required app to render those credits plus its workflow and icons are far from comprehensive)...
So, What did I find?
1- Those loyalty credits are NOT exchangeable for future plugin purchase discounts, as similarly named credits allow at other vendors. This is the only surprising info not so difficult to find.
2- These credits can not be used to buy, discount or any way to gain ownership of virtual instruments or samples packs! This notion came to me only after going thru most of the labyrinthine realization process.
3- These credits can only under certain ADSR app usage conditions AND ONLY DURING A 30 DAYS LAPSE after your purchase, be exchanged for ONLY ONE sound sample!!! (you read this well, only one single, lonely, singular sound for one credit).
So yes, one needs to be using their free but proprietary sample manager-store app, which is required to be connected online. Only inside that app one may navigate their online stock of in example say Kick sounds. While one is auditing the available kicks one is able to select one, and either purchase or use one of those fleeting credits and get that sound of your choice...
Lets remember that those credits are one per US$5 Dollars purchases and then those credits stay in your account only for 30 days.
///In sum, a waist of time. More so if you had to go thru what I had to in order to unravel this riddle.
Such deceiving protocol brought ADSR several levels below my previous consideration of them.
Hope this brings awareness

I remember in 2022 they did sell som Nectar licenses, seemingly with wrong pricing, and then later claimed: "be aware that all keys associated with this issue will be voided" ,.. totally ignoring that the error was on their own side, and thus they where responsible them self to take any losses. No one else but them self, obviously.
(btw. all sales are considered final, at least when sold to EU countries).
They realy bend things in their own favour only ,.. and dont seem very proffesional either

Are you saying that the people who bought licenses at lower than the actual price were not given a refund and also didnt get any product? Or was it the case that the wrong price wasnt honored, but people also werent charged ? If its the latter , I dont see that as a problem. People make mistakes and I dont think someone should take a loss for an honest error.HM wrote: Sun Apr 27, 2025 10:00 pmADSR is just shady by nature I guess ,.. sorry to hear that they are still in businessNspace wrote: Sun Apr 27, 2025 12:49 am

I've bought from ADSR for years ,no problems and I even bought the same soundset twice and they refunded me right away.

ADSR apologized to people who bought that cheap license, refunded them and licenses were revoked (I suppose by iZotope). They have also offered (at least in my case) a free license for ADSR Drum Machine, which I accepted. Email exchange was very pleasant and I do understand that mistakes happen.Kurdish Mayfield wrote: Sun Apr 27, 2025 10:27 pmAre you saying that the people who bought licenses at lower than the actual price were not given a refund and also didnt get any product? So no, they did not do anything nasty at all. Noise came from bunch of freeloaders wanting free/cheap shit without any care or regard for others.

To specify what "my previous consideration of" ADSR was, I had bought quite several items from them. All perfect transactions at usually good prices and their stock tends to have a wide array of developers and plugins/instruments firms including small and creative ones, difficult to find elsewhere.Nspace wrote: Sun Apr 27, 2025 12:49 am ///In sum, a waist of time. Also for completeness, at my recent email exchange with them, despite the unexpected and ultimately deceiving specific marketing strategy being treated, it was always a gentle conversation.
