CR78 Loop problem

Hi, my DAW is MuLab (9 or 10). I can hear the first note of almost every loop being double triggered, which is causing an audible phase cancelation glitch. This only happens when the CR78 is synced to host. I'm not sending any notes on to the CR78, its just syncing it's own internal sequencer to the DAW's stop start control. Has anyone noticed this happening in other DAW's?
