What sinking feeling?

I'm delighted to publicly acknowledge that my cunning plan to get Mackie to reveal features of more interest to us everyday users worked like a charm

I particularly like the bit about being "ready" for Mackie Controls. That would be ready as in, I've put on a full suit of armour and encased myself in concrete so that my wife can't beat the  out of me when she sees what that shiny new Mackie Control actually cost  I have been looking at keyboards with integrated knobs/sliders, though ... and I have a birthday coming up :D

The sinking feeling is gone. Replaced by extreme impatience to get my hands on T2

The only sinking feeling I have is the feeling I'll be sinking some serious cash into my studio this year, for T2, possibly a Mackie Control, and lots of other goodies! :-o :hihi:

Linux Mint, Waveform 13 Pro, U-He synths, Audio Damage effects,.

T2 is going to kick major ass. I can't wait.

Will al lthe features be released at NAMM, or is this something we will have to wait further on?

Im dying to find out what the upgrade price + other features are + shipping date.

I've been looking at my sad little prophecy with its' five rotary knobs thinking, ahh, but for a C4...

The only thing dampening my desire for a C4 is a Mackie Control.

I can't see my wife going for the idea though.

No Mackie hardware in my near future, but someone in another thread reminded me that a Johnson J-Station can transmit MIDI messages, making it a mere $100 CDN for a MIDI device AND a respected (if aging) amp modeler with digital out!

The Proph is a great synth! Do not despair.

it is when the audio outs haven't decided that being held in place by non-torsioned solder joints is just plain f*cking stupid, and they are having none of it. :x

Currently my audio out on the the prophecy is the headphone jack, and I'm fairly sure the propehecy has one of the crappiest sounding headphones jacks I've encountered this side of an Aiwa personal stereo. :(

I tried taking the bloody thing apart but it gave me a headache, 'cos two of teh ribbon cables had more or less welded themselves onto the jumper blocks.

Oh, and the mod wheel wobbles around like a pissed Essex girl just out from Tots...

I do love it though, in a dysfunctional kind of way

:D That would've been me. I picked up my J-Station for $120.00 from a local music store more than a year ago and I love it. The presets are kinda crap but it won't take you long to make your own. I love that I'll be able to just twiddle my knobs and have them become controllers in T2 :hihi: I'd love something with faders also but there is no hurry for that. I did read on the J-Station forum that used ones are starting to sell for quite a bit now, seems they are having a revival :-o Good Luck!
