""I think this is called "projection". No, Montana ... you are being flamed for being an asshole, while you pretend to give advice to people.""
Ah ok. So I wasnt helping, I was just being an asshole. I see.
Well if thats the case I would like to apologize to everyone here. Im not going to keep engaging in a pointless, negative discussion that really goes nowhere.
Apologies to all, have a happy and safe week.

Given that montana is a self-aggrandising ignorant dipshit - and that this has generally been acknowledged as such by everyone reading this thread (bar himself - granted) - lets just ignore all his posts, ok?
I know I will - no point trying to fight bullshit with fire, it just gets retarded and stinky...
Anyway, my tests:
did some tests betwen cubase 2 sx and traction using the same audio sample, the same plugins and settings, and three different states:
clean (no plugins)
plugin 1
plugin 2
came to the conclusion that cubase was about 1-2% slower on average, either playing 96khz, or 44k.
Also found tracktion lost about 1-2% cpu when playing the 44k @ 96k. So that solves most of the mystery mentioned herebefore -
if anyone is interested (bar, of course - montana) in the full details I'm happy to write them out here, it'll just take some time to do so-
Thanks to all the people who were genuinely helpful- particularly Hansm, simply because he had a similar setup to me so was able to provide direct comparison-
Cheers,
Matt

Ok Girl's ...stand back to back walk twenty paces and on my count arm yourselves, draw tampax and FIRE!!!! ........
What a laugh.
The pot's calling the kettle black.
The cat's clawing at Pavlov's dog.
And Narcissus is masturbating at the reflection of himself in the computer monitor.
Meanwhile the Rake (much like this here thread) hasn't progressed much either

not really, I had in mind something more like "tracktion slooow -- fixed"
anyone casually reading this forum, who didn't wade through god knows how many pages of name-calling would be a little mislead by that title, given that you yourself suggest that your initial observation isn't totally fair.
Just seems like good manners to me, but do whatever you want.
