Our products interpret C4 as Midi Note 60 :) If there is a feature request, I can add a global setting under Audio Engine to change that behavior between C4 or C3, in a later update.
Personally I don‘t care too much, for me its enough to know it. It has to be mentioned in the manual.
Of course as soon I use samples and I need to define a root note and have to do that by a note name its crucial to know it…

All plugins use just Midi, only the label might be different…
I added a new global setting under Audio Engine to handle this difference. It will be in the next update. This setting will affect how MIDI note names are displayed, and how they are read from sample/sfz files (sample/sfz files can have note names in them)

Hi! I'm reporting a problem. When glide is turned on in mono, the first midi note plays with glide.

Another important UI change for our upcoming v3.2.4 update:

The keyboard was taking way too much space. So shortening its height to fit more stuff. This way, no need to tab between Keyboard and Macros

That's great because the HUGE keyboard was really pissing me off 😁

The dark GUI for SM2 @ 120 % is perfect !
No auto tune...

I was thinking about a cosmetic change a while ago that I wanted to mention once more.

For the Routing area where you connect oscs to filters, or set up FM, etc. etc.
it might be nice to have some type of snap-to-grid function for the items added in there to make it a bit more organized looking. If you connect several oscs together and it gets semi-complex for FM, it may be easier to work with and/or at least easier on the eyes.

Very nice, thank you!

I second that!

And thanx for the cool UI update!

Hi guys, glad to announce v3.2.4 update for SynthMaster 3! This update has new features and lots of bug fixes:

Create Random Wavetable.jpg

New Features:

1. Added new global setting to set start octave of first MIDI note
2. Added new global setting to set normalization level of presets
3. Added new global setting to set audio preview levels
4. Added lobpm and hibpm tokens for sfz sample regions to trigger sample regions with DAW tempo
5. Added "Create Random Waveform" to wavetables to create random shapes for Line/Wave sources.
6. Decreased the built-in keyboard height so that macros could fit under Keyboad tab.

Bug Fixes:

1. Replacing an oscillator with Granular oscillator might crash SynthMaster 3 after the preset is saved and loaded again
2. SynthMaster 3 should prevent users from adding drive root folders as sample/waveform search paths
3. When Granular oscillator envelope attack+release times are greater than 1, SynthMaster 3 might crash
4. SynthMaster 3 VST3 incorrectly sends parameter changes to VST3 Host when the plugin window opens up
5. SynthMaster 3 might crash when loading a preset
6. When pressing a low key on the the piano view, notes might get held
7. When a wavetable is loaded, the phase type of the wave source is not displayed correctly
8. When a wavetable is saved, existing list of wavetables is not refreshed correctly
9. When a waveform is saved, existing list of waveforms is not refreshed correctly
10. When a sfz file is saved, existing list of sfzs is not refreshed correctly
11. Closing the waveform editor might crash SynthMaster 3
12. SynthMaster 3 crashes when custom waveforms are loaded on wave source keyframes
13. SynthMaster 3 crashes when there are no waveforms listed and the random button is pressed on the waveform browser dialog
14. Waveform tie parameter is not persisted on the wavetable editor dialog
15. When auto glide is turned on in mono, the first midi note starts from zero

You can check for updates inside SynthMaster 3 to download this update!

Cheers

Bulent
