I think this will only select it. What I ment is that the FX Selector has a Parameter "Index" which represents the selected layer. Open the remote control pages on the device, create a new page, activate mapping and click on the "name area" left to the prev/next layer selectors. Now you have the layer selector as a normal parameter which can be triggered as ususal.Patoche wrote: Sat Apr 19, 2025 9:19 am Thanks for your quick response. Like this: /device/layer/{+,-}
/device/layer/page/{+,-} ?

Here's what I did:
I made a button with /track/toggleBank. So I switch to my 'FX' tracks.
I select the track.
And then via 2 buttons '/device/layer/{+,-}' I can switch from layer to layer. It works well for the first 'FX' track, not for the second. I continue...thanks

DrivenByMoss 25.0.2 is online!
Get it from https://mossgrabers.de
Get it from https://mossgrabers.de
- Requires Bitwig 5.3+
- Implemented adaptive scrolling for play position as well as the loop start and length on all devices which provide these functions.
- ROTO CONTROL
- New: Support for stepped parameters. Since Bitwig cannot provide the option names, they are labelled Option 1 - Option N.
- Fixed: Track button states could get inconsistent when tracks were added or removed.
- Fixed: Parameter mapping did only work for parameters on the first page (did crash for all others). Regression in 25.0.1.

With the official Melbourne Instruments public beta release for Bitwig support for the Roto Control, what are the implications Moss’s script?
https://www.melbourneinstruments.com/roto#BETA
Is it designed to work only with the Ableton firmware?
Would it still work with the Bitwig firmware?
Can any capabilities or Moss’s script be used together with the new Beta firmware functionality?
Will Moss’s script still be further developed / maintained?
I fly home today after a 3 week holiday and have my Roto Control has just been delivered and waiting for me when I get home tomorrow. Can’t wait!

I hope that these are not different Firmwares but only a newer Beta.Sekops wrote: Fri May 02, 2025 9:03 pm Is it designed to work only with the Ableton firmware?

If they would go that way, that would be pretty bad for users which use both.
I also support Reaper with it, so I think I will. But hard to comment at the moment.

Hi,
I've been using the script for the Akai Fire in Bitwig Studio, and I noticed an issue when trying to switch between project pages using the Select knob. Instead of moving sequentially one by one, the navigation jumps directly from the first page to the last.
Would it be possible to adjust the script so that the Select knob moves through the pages in order?
Thanks in advance Moss

The Launch Control XL pages send on different MIDI channels, so you can simply map them as well with Generic Flexi.xtreme sounds wrote: Fri May 02, 2025 11:03 pm Thanks. Good catch! I did not notice since it works fine if you only have 2 pages. Will be fixed in the next update!balroj88 wrote: Sat May 03, 2025 6:40 am Hi,

The manual does specify what the "Note" button is. What is it?
Also, is the manual open source as well? I'm happy to submit pull requests.
