Maschine
New: The 4D-Encoder can now control the hovered parameter introduced in Bitwig 5.3. Press it to toggle to that function.
Same for NI keyboards?

Which device or which page in the manual are you referring to?brownerthanu wrote: Sun May 04, 2025 6:11 pm The manual does specify what the "Note" button is. What is it?
Yes. https://github.com/git-moss/DrivenByMoss-Documentationbrownerthanu wrote: Sun May 04, 2025 6:11 pm Also, is the manual open source as well? I'm happy to submit pull requests.

Thanks! I’m referring to Ableton Push 3.

The problem with the Push 3 is that they replaced most of the labels of the Push 1/2 with more or less helpful icons. It is the button above the Scale button.

Is there a way to pin a device on the Maschine Jam so I can go through other channels and still have for example, the drum sequencer open?
This feature is great on the Akai Fire.

Not on the device but you can pin it in Bitwig via the drop down menu for the controller.tiraquon wrote: Mon May 05, 2025 5:58 pm Is there a way to pin a device on the Maschine Jam so I can go through other channels and still have for example, the drum sequencer open?

Yes. You should see the track and device name. Look for the little pins above them.tiraquon wrote: Tue May 06, 2025 4:21 am Ok, nice. Was looking for this yesterday, but couldn’t find it. Is that the little keyboard icon in the top right?

You will see the notes of a clip on the Push no matter how you did create these notes.tiraquon wrote: Wed May 07, 2025 7:42 am back again - with the Jam is it possible to play things on another midi keyboard and have that work with the poly sequencer?

Hello i have recently purchased AKAI LPD8 Mk2 pad controller and to my surprise when i choose flexi script no notes are heard while being tapped?
When i chose the normal controller i the notes are being heard. The flexi script registates the notes being played is ther something wrong i am doing? I want to use the flexi script to play notes for the drum machine and be able to launch scenes in another program mode.
Please let me know
Nevermind i Will use the standaard controller script of Bitwig i did not know i could program that much key/controller inside Bitwig around 40 scenes can be programmering more then enough for my needs

Yep, sorry I should have been a bit more specific. I can see the notes I play on another keyboard on the Jam, but I can't play a note on the keyboard then select a step and have that note be put on that step. It only allows this if I play a note on the Jam. Is it possible to have it work when the input is from a midi keyboard?

Look at the bottom of Generic Flexi configurations settings. There you find different options how to configure the "keyboard".questionaire wrote: Wed May 07, 2025 12:20 pm Hello i have recently purchased AKAI LPD8 Mk2 pad controller and to my surprise when i choose flexi script no notes are heard while being tapped?

No, there is no interaction between extensions/scripts.tiraquon wrote: Wed May 07, 2025 12:53 pmYep, sorry I should have been a bit more specific.
