I'm using a low spec 2 in 1 windows 10 PC with hardly any hard drive left. I have no crackle and pop and cubase pro 14 doesn't crash on my end. When using in reaper the CPU only measures between 1 and 3%. Default buffer size (I didn't look).

It's the buffer size that seems to be the hurdle.Atrocious wrote: Thu Apr 24, 2025 7:14 pm I'm using a low spec 2 in 1 windows 10 PC with hardly any hard drive left. If it were easy, anybody could do it!

Actually, not anymore.
Bass V4.0.1 is now available for download. On both my Mac systems (iMac/Mojave and MB Air M2/Sonoma) I can even use a 64 samples buffer with no problems whatsoever.
Many thanks to Ample for this quick fix!

Made a separate thread but just going to hop in here if it's more active. I'm having trouble importing midi into the new riffer module using both Reaper and Ableton Live. If midi is exported from Ableton it'll will always squish it into 1 bar. If I import from Reaper it'll stretch extra bars for example one time a 4 bar loop was doubled to 8 with a tail into 9 bars in Riffer. Anyone experience this?

Please save a midi file first, and import the midi file into the new Riffer. If the problem persists, please send the midi file to lc@amplesound.netnahmama wrote: Tue Apr 29, 2025 8:06 am Made a separate thread but just going to hop in here if it's more active. Thanks for the reply, I’m exporting the midi file from Ableton and saving the .mid onto the desktop. Then in Riffer I import that midi file from the desktop and it still squishes it into 1 bar. Is there a different way I should be doing it?Liang[AmpleSound] wrote: Tue Apr 29, 2025 8:27 amPlease save a midi file first, and import the midi file into the new Riffer.
