Thanks for your comment. Not that I don't have similar plugins, but they look and sound really awesome, so I will most likely grab them both.WasteLand wrote: Sat May 10, 2025 9:54 ami quite like Current. pleasure to program and well thought through. it is a bit of a broad strokes synth to program, with good or great results. MPE implementation excellent.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Sat May 10, 2025 9:42 am Minimal Audio sale looks interesting at JRR Shop, but I don't own any of their plugins. I believe 50% off is their best offer yet. Anyone here recommends Current and Rift? Not so interested in their other plugins.

rift is fantastic. i own way more distortion plugins than any reasonable person should, including cold fire, thermal, decapitator, hate, shaper table, ruina.. i could go on for a while here but the point is rift is my most used for more creative distortion. if i just want to add some warm harmonics to something, its not so much for that, but if i want to blow something up, its my go to. the combination of bipolar distortion, feedback module, and the nice morphing filters just feels right. don’t have current though, it seems nice but i’m happy with phase plantLoveEnigma18 wrote: Sat May 10, 2025 9:42 am Minimal Audio sale looks interesting at JRR Shop, but I don't own any of their plugins. Thanks for your positive comments about Rift. Even I too love Cold FIRE and Thermal among others, but Rift indeed offers some unique and interesting features and would be a good addition. Can't have enough distortion/saturation plugins!yhvh wrote: Sat May 10, 2025 1:02 pmrift is fantastic. i own way more distortion plugins than any reasonable person should, including cold fire, thermal, decapitator, hate, shaper table, ruina.. i could go on for a while here but the point is rift is my most used for more creative distortion. if i just want to add some warm harmonics to something, its not so much for that, but if i want to blow something up, its my go to. the combination of bipolar distortion, feedback module, and the nice morphing filters just feels right. don’t have current though, it seems nice but i’m happy with phase plantLoveEnigma18 wrote: Sat May 10, 2025 9:42 am Minimal Audio sale looks interesting at JRR Shop, but I don't own any of their plugins. I think we have seen a significant transition in audio plugins/technology in the last few years. While we will always have favorites from yesteryears, it is hard to dismiss modern alternatives that are actually good.

Current is right up your alley. People say the filter does the E-mu Z-planes.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Sat May 10, 2025 9:42 am Minimal Audio sale looks interesting at JRR Shop, but I don't own any of their plugins. Minimal Audio is very secretive. Which country do they come from? There is nothing on their homepage. The AI also doesn't know.
If you plan on purchasing your first Universal Audio hardware, you can get a free additional plugin. Just send a PM.

Looks to me like Minimal's typical discount, albeit the low side, since they have sales for less of a discount, pretty sure...
Probably a good time to get it, but I doubt seriously well not see these prices again for another 4 years. heh

Hard to say. They've had a couple of their plugins like Hybrid Filter and Morph EQ on deep discount and occasionally given away a few lite versions.

Current looks mighty fine, but I`m sticking with Serum 2 and Synplant 2..
