If you could simply change the skin, I would find nothing to complain about, but unless I’m mistaking, the skin doesn’t affect that browser part...
Right on the top line of Nexus when you are looking at a patch, there is a button on the right called
"N2retro" That will change the skin to an older version that is much easier to read. You can access all the banks and browse the sounds from there.
Well... I already use the retro skin, but the browser still switches to the black skin... what I explained exactly...

It must be you then. On mine when I go to retro N2 the browser IS what's in the main window. On the left is Category, right side is Presets. All in easy to see light blue with the rest of the controls in white. If there is another skin option, I don't recall it but when I go to N2 retro, that's what it is...the browser window square in the center of the screen.

Sorry, maybe that was unclear. I used the word "browser" for the "library". It was obvious to me as it's the main browser of Nexus, where you can search presets, sort them, note them, etc.

So let me rephrase it, my bad. Even if you use the classic skin (full perfection to me btw) :

you still have to deal with all the other tabs being black, my main problem being the library tab, that I find painful to read :

I don't know why the skin doesn't affect all tabs. You choose a skin, but it's like the synth doesn't really care. It says "okay, I'll make an effort and change the main tab". :?

You can do this with the mouse scroll wheel and IIRC a modifier (away from base at the moment so can't test which). The problem is that this isn't remembered on next launch, that would be a good refinement.

Totally agree. But, FigBug said in some earlier posts that a light skin is forthcoming, hopefully soon because I also find it terribly hard to read.

Yes, that seems to be very difficult for eyes the black screen and the text.

OH, ok. I see what you're talking about now. Yup, every other cool new edit screen is black and cannot be changed. That totally sucks man, sorry I misunderstood you. BTW, if you are having trouble because everything is too small, there is a resize option under system prefs I believe.

Ctl+mouse scroll will increase the font of the preset names in the Library.

But it doesn't seem to affect any other font sizes. I would like to be able to adjust the size of the labels of the controls in the synth itself (for ex. Cut, Res, Drv, and so on). These are tiny.

I am still not very comfortable with the Nexus5 UI, especially because it is too dark and it is difficult for me to read the text (I know we can zoom in on certain areas, it's not about that).

This is probably the only synth in which I face this problem. I think I should just stick to using Nexus2 UI. Sorry if I missed anything, but is Nexus4 UI theme possible?

IIRC they did say they're going to add global Nexus 5 themes in due course. But I tend to agree that the size of text / font is an issue and will be on any theme - I'd forgotten the mouse wheel only affects the browser not all text.

Will there be an reFX Nexus 5 expansion called Ambient Sci-Fi 2? Was the Ambient Sci-Fi expansion created by Yoad Nevo? If so, is he going to create more expansions in this style?

How to make the panning automatically follow the release curve or the ADSR envelope in Nexus 5?

does anyone here know how to edit the volume of individual drum sounds in these Nexus "oscillator" layers? I've been able to find 100 edit parameters on this sample set called "Demo Drums" and all i want to do is turn one sample down in volume. any ideas?
