A-Type Multiband Dynamic Enhancer is now native and included in Spark.
It was initially released a few weeks ago as an Apollo/UAD-2 DSP-only plugin, so native UADx is new and welcomed.

A-Type Multiband Dynamic Enhancer is modeled on the Dolby Type A noise reduction system. The plugin will work as an actual Dolby Type A encoder and decoder, so studios can use it to decode Dolby A encoded tapes during digitization (use the A-Type TAPE TRANSFER DECODE preset.)

It of course also does all of the studio "tricks" for bringing presence to vocals and acoustic guitar.

We'll need to wait a little while for a $39 sale.

Good idea. Unfortunately those coupons expire after a month, and my last purchase was 2 months ago.

The only ones I don't have are A-Type, Anthem, and the full version of Verve Analog Machines. I wonder if I'd get a $25 coupon if I purchased Verve at $29 right now?

I got this with my 3+3/$199 bundle last week, got the native version last night, and yeah it’s an excellent plugin! I’m recording some female vox for a new dance song this week and looking forward to using this on it. :singer:

You should have two from that Polymax freebie event too (check your mails - 24th-ish of May)... both should still be valid afaik.

I found it, thanks.
I had actually thrown out the email with the Polymax voucher, since UA showed you all of your active coupons at checkout, only to discovered the new underwhelming site design no longer does.

But I was able to find the voucher code by searching the internet, plus someone posted it in another thread here, too. I checked and mine is active.

Good - it was two though, in case you needed another one.

(Far be it from me to criticize anyone else for doing so, but - and stupid as it may be - personally I somehow don't feel entirely in my right to share them publically, even though they
are generic ones.)

I have to say that I'm pretty pissed that for no real reason, UAD updated its software so that it no longer worked with my Apollo 8 Firewire interface, so I had to spend $200 on a UAD Thunderbolt card and $120 on a PCIe Thunderbolt card, just so I could use the thousands of dollars worth of hardware and software I already spent.

The 2nd one is for $25 off, too. I tried that one on top of the SORRYPOLYMAX voucher and it said "POLYMAXLOYALTY couldn't be used with your existing discounts."

Yeah, these are generic codes that are the same for everyone. But your UAudio account has to have the codes active, so someone who doesn't already qualify can't use them. So there's no harm in sharing them. It could be useful to someone who qualifies but threw out their email (like me), since UA no longer shows you your active coupons when you check out, ever since the site update.

It's strange.. I have bought straight from UAD before but do not recall any vouchers. Do they typically only arrive through your e-mail or do they reside and show up in your UAD user account?

UAudio will email you with a coupon code. If you've made a recent purchase and didn't get one, email their tech support and they'll probably hook you up.

Since they switched to universal coupon codes that have to be active on an account to be used, it seems the standard $25 coupon after purchasing from them is "THANKS25". It's valid for 1 month after your purchase. Give that a try and see if it's active on your account before emailing support.
