Hi.
When producing, my main issue is controlling the EQ for multiple tracks as the same time.
I have find the solution in Bitwig to tweak eq of severals tracks at the same time (with the BCR2000), but I hate the sequencing feature of Bitwig, I am more ease in Ableton Live.
In other word, use Bitwig as a virtual mixer and Ableton live as sequencer and vst instrument host (+some fx).
So, I want to transfert the audio of all my tracks from Ableton Live to Bitwig as sort of send/insert. Idealy on the same computer, I meant launching Ableton Live and Bitwig at the same time.
Have anyone such a setting ? or advice of app or setting ?

if you want to send audio between different DAWs, you'll either need a very flexible soundcard driver, or a plugin like NUGEN SigMod or BlueCat Connector
both of which are an unduly complex solution for not EQing in Live.

Yeah, I'm thinking this would be a lot of work for little reward. It's definitely possible but seems like you might be better off bouncing your projects to stems and then doing your mixing in Bitwig. I used to write in Bitwig or Live and then mix in Pro Tools. There is something to be said for deliberately moving into a new project for the mixing stage but I gave up on moving between DAWs a long time ago and do everything in Bitwig now.
When I master stuff, I send audio out of one interface (which is running at the sample rate of the original audio files), through analog signal processors and then into a different interface running at my target sample rate... and even that process is kind of a pain in my ass.

Absolutely agree with what they ^^^ both said. I also do this (using two or more computers/workstations), frequently:

Thanks for your answer.
Yes, It is definitively cumbursome to manage différent Daw at the same time.
The lack of scripting support for Ableton Live made me mad. I didn't understand why they didn't provide documentation for this feature, It is useful and they will grow certainly their users...

The main plugins are rent-to-own (at 1:45 on video above), like $50 a month for 18 months — I still have 8 months left ...
ps. (FL Studio support has been just added with 1.9)

There's plenty of documentation and support on the Live API for Max4Live
https://help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/artic ... x-for-Live
(And Googling will give you a ton of LOM stuff for Python as well, as that's what is used for RemoteScripts (and you can even do so via OSC.
Hell, there's even a Udemy course on it.)

To my knowledge, there is no official manual for the API of Ableton. Even the one of Bitwig lack of explanation.whyterabbyt wrote: Fri May 23, 2025 10:16 am

Max4Live is not what we can call a simple API, it had layer for remote device that is already a layer.

If you'd looked at the link I gave you, you would have found the LOM pages, tutorial links, the lot.Frac-Capitaine wrote: Fri May 23, 2025 6:04 pmTo my knowledge, there is no official manual for the API of Ableton. Even the one of Bitwig lack of explanation.

But since you've gone from asking for help to a "prove it" attitude, Im out of here.
