Am I the only one who gets slammed with Softube promotional mails?
For a few weeks now they have been doing a kind of very agressive marketing.
I get mails from them several times a day!!
Sheesh...That's even worse than Waves!

I get promo offers from Softube but I intentionally signed up for them? Just unsubscribe? I like their plugs so I don't mind seeing the deals.

He complained about frequency. As a musician or producer you're familiar with that parameter, so no reason to invalidate his complaint as if he might not still be interested in news from Softube at a lower frequency. Softube don't allow for separate subscriptions for products news vs. for deals.

My impression is that Softube might be covering up internal problems. Of the last purchases I made on their website, one took more than a day to appear in the iLok License Manager, the other is pending. Their website only has a randomly appearing banner that says "We are aware of an issue where some products may not show up under My Account and are working on a fix". That's misrepresenting the situation because "My Account" isn't essential for use while activation in the iLok IM is.

I'm not invalidating his complaint. It's just his only option. Companies do what they do. With stuff like this you are generally in or out. It is what it is. Given that, it's just (to me) a weird observation when each of those emails has the option to stop it from happening. If he's posting a general observation to chat about that's cool. I'm posting a general response. No worries.
