My software keeps crashing

So, I recently installed Waveform Free. I then installed Attracktion and the content for it. But when I add it to a track, any track my system crashes near-instantly. I've already tested some solutions that didn't work.
1.I tested it with and without sandboxing, it still crashed.
2. I raised the audio buffer, that didn't work.
3. I uninstalled all other plug-ins I had before installing Attracktion, that didn't work either.
4. I have checked my system requirements, they are all good
5. I tried using both the VST and VST3 versions
6. I installed the program today, but regardless I checked for updates, as expected, it's up to date
Below is what my log says once the crash happens:

You mean "Attracktive, right?"Rectifier82 wrote: Thu May 22, 2025 2:52 am So, I recently installed Waveform Free. I then installed Attracktion and the content for it. But when I add it to a track, any track my system crashes near-instantly. I've already tested some solutions that didn't work.

I had this issue, but found that the Attracktive VST3 plugin was stable (FWIW.) Just for kicks, can you move the VST2.4 version to, say, your desktop and see if the VST3 still crashes Waveform.

I can remove the other VST and then see if the VST3 works?

It's worth a shot, though it "probably" shouldn't have an effect. Just move it so that it's not scanned by the software. You can always put it back if there's no change (though, of course, if there's no change it will mean that it will still make Waveform crash...)Rectifier82 wrote: Thu May 22, 2025 3:35 am I can remove the other VST and then see if the VST3 works?
Remember, we're talking about restarting Waveform as we want it to rescan the VST3 plugin.

I removed the VST2 version of Attracktive and then rescanned and there was no effect.

By the way, the crashes started after I installed the "Attracktive Content Content" from the downloads manager.

For the case the Downloaded Manger didn't succeed with its job, although claiming it, try this:
Enter your Tracktion account and download the content file manually (https://www.tracktion.com/account/downloads). Then install it manually from the Attractive plugin by its function "Install Content Pack".

I haven't noticed Attracktive before so this thread caught my eye. In the process of searching for more info I discovered a typo on the product page: just below the "Intuitive Adaptive UI", the text has "Attrackive" (missing the "t"). Just thought the Tracktion folks might want to know.
You can twist perceptions, reality won't budge.
