re. pricing
To confirm, to buy Uhbik 2.0 at E149, one buys a Uhbik license from https://u-he.com/products/uhbik/ between now until official release of Uhbik 2.0?
i.e. there is no specific Uhbik 2.0 page on u-he.com to purchase at the intro price.
Thanks

So the idea is, while we work on Zebra 3 in the next few weeks (4? 6? 8? Can't fully say yet) to get it from alpha to internal beta, we'll keep Uhbik as public beta and collect whatever issues are left to fix. Then we'll need a few weeks (2-4?) to fix those bugs and put out a Release Candidate, the release. Until then our sound design team will also work on the new factory library for Uhbik, i.e. presets that use the new features.
So let's say, there are 2 months easily of public beta testing, if not a bit more. During that time anyone can buy Uhbik 1.x from https://u-he.com/products/uhbik/ for the old price, and upgrade to Uhbik 2.0 for free.

The flanger is also a chorus. Just increase the delay time to 8-10ms. And turn off the feedback.jtsterays wrote: Wed May 28, 2025 2:08 pm Phaser, flanger but no chorus. We need that to complete the trifecta.
I wouldn't be mad if they gave that knob a little larger range (say 30ms max vs 10ms).

That's true, but a dedicated one will have more features tailored to it. No way U-he would do it though, they have too much on their plate right now. Just wishful thinking.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Wed May 28, 2025 2:30 pmThe flanger is also a chorus. Just increase the delay time to 8-10ms. Yeah chorus is just flanger without feedback really. There's no features that would be more suited for chorus, flsnger would benefit from those same features too.

Possible bug: REAPER 7.24/Win64
When Uhbik devices' limiter section are bypassed and then engaged again, it crashes the whole DAW. Is it just me? Thank you.

Just copy them from, say
~/Library/Audio/Presets/u-he/Uhbik-A/
to
~/Library/Audio/Presets/u-he/Uhbik Ambience
To get to latter folder easily, open the preset browser in Uhbik Ambience and right-click the user and "Open in Finder"

Looking really nice! I still wish some of the parameter which could not be automated before were now automate-able (eg, Uhbik EQ Bottom freq, Band1/Band2 Type, etc). Still I've been enjoying the added modulation possibilities with the alphas and honestly I had forgotten those versions were still early alpha as I had come to rely on them. Great work as always!
Just FYI,
I had some older files (maybe from an alpha build, I'm not sure which version I had on this system) hanging around in ~/Library/Application Support/u-he which were causing weird issues with control placement/alignment and labels to appear in the wrong places. I was also seeing the issue shown in this post: viewtopic.php?p=9086369#p9086369
Clearing out all of the files related to uhbik from that folder fixed the problem, so perhaps some preferences were left hanging around. The problem was most noticeable with Uhbik Ambience. I'm not seeing that problem on my Windows system. I will check on my main studio Mac tonight.

Hello,
Issue on Uhbik 2.0 in Cubase 14 on Windows.
I can’t set the insert Bypass in the Channel settings or in the Mix Console. (Any Plugin)
Reactivating when bypassed is possible.
In the Plugin window itself, the little upper left icon works as aspected.
Hope that Helps

It was on a new project, but for some reason VST2 plugins have been still showing up under the old names after I've used the install script.Viktor [TUC] wrote: Wed May 28, 2025 10:16 am "Uhbik-G" is the name of the old plugin, the new updated one is named "Uhbik Grainshift".
Can you say more about how you're loading that one? Is it an old project that you're loading? Or empty project, then selecting the plugin?
Viktor
I've deleted the plugin cache and rescanned them, so now I see the correct names and the stereo sound works too, thanks for the help!
