Hi,

Thanks for letting us get this amazing synth - Free - !

A simple question : where are the presets located in the OS (Mac OS X) ?
I'd like to add new banks but I can't find the correct location...

here his reply:

daHornet tries to load its fxb from the location of the plugin (the
same as the win version). It has to be named daHornet.bnk and sit next
to daHornet.vst or daHornet.component (AU). That file will be loaded as
the default bank if it exists.

Try ~/Library/Audio/Presets/NUSofting/daHornet

Hi !

Sorry, but I'm getting confused here roll:
After trying what you've indicated, there was nothing in the VST folder window, next to dahornet plug-in....but then I did a search on the mac, it links to a path that seems "invisible".... I can actually see it in the search but I can't access it when I follow the path

Can I mail you a screen capture ?

If you're using the vst version:

put the bank to "/Library/Audio/PlugIns/VST/", name it "daHornet.bnk".
It will be right next to "daHornet.vst"

for AU:

put the bank to "/Library/Audio/PlugIns/Components/", name it
"daHornet.bnk".
It will be right next to "daHornet.component"

There's no need to open the plugins themselves!!!

I mean, there are none in the vst folder...so do I risk something to duplicate it in this folder ?
