What's changed:
- Enhanced Curves: More Flexible! More Accurate! More user-friendly!
The improved curve rendering accuracy further raises MuLab's sound quality level!
The enhanced flexibility and editing comfort raises the creative power.
Details:
Everything now is done using Bezier curves. No more separate types for wave cycles and stairs.
MuLab curves have extra parameters to create wave cycles, stairs, ...
All existing projects/presets are auto-upgraded.
These extra flexible curves are useful to create all kinds of automation clips and also handy for building wave-shape oscillators. - In the envelope editors all curve parameters now are instantly editable via the property panel at the bottom. No more separate popup window.
- Improved splitting of automation clips. (before, this was not working properly and that's what caused the curve system rewrite)
- Also inside any envelope editor curves can now be split.
You can do so via right-click on a curve or by drawing a new point upon a curve. - Cycled curves can be split into individual curve points, making each cycle separately editable.
- Unite Automation Clips: Several improvements/fixes.
- Improved rendering of automation clips, specifically wrt. the end value.
- Multi-Point Envelope module: The Loop Speed was only applied after reaching the loop end point, now it's applied when reaching the loop start point.
- Multi-Point Envelope module: When a loop is used with "On Note Off" = "Finish Looping", the release speed was not properly applied. Fixed.
- LFO Shape editor now is resizable.
- LFO + Multi-Point Envelope: When saved into a preset file, the used grid was not saved. Fixed.
- Audio Limiter: New TanH mode.
- Amp Distortion: Bit more cpu efficient.
- Clicking a loop marker in the sequence editor did not properly set the play position. Fixed.
- When stepping thru MUX presets from a MUX editor and the loaded preset contains racks, the editor could go wrong. Eg. Scope-A-Lay. Fixed.
- Modulation Monitor was not showing negative values. Fixed.
- Changed "DYNAMICBASE" build setting now makes Synth1 and PG8X and possibly other older VST2 plugins compatible with MuLab.
- Other small improvements.
