How to set up MIDI control within Mux

I wanted to add ability to set Modulation to ModWheel, for example, I found a Module (MIDI Control Filter) that I believe is the correct one, but I don't see a way to use it to control Modulation as it only uses Event In/Out.

I can set up different destinations, but am clueless how I set the ModWheel as the source.

EDIT: I tried the ModMapper, but it has no effect.
I used Event in to MIDI Control Filter, out to ModMapper, then out to Filter Cutoff.
Is that right?
