I had Air Music Technology Multiband Filterbank version 1.0.0.32 installed.
Available update is 1.2.1.14. Bit of a big jump.
The most recent download turns out to be 1.0.0.37.
The update option inside the plugin tells there is no newer version.

An admin did a mass update and appears to have selected some plugins incorrectly

Ah, that sucks.
I found some others from Analog Obsession (see attached image).
The Distox is a weird one. On the official site, it's version 1.0, but you can find version 4.0 on https://plugins4free.com. However, that installer is from 2021; the official one is from 2023. The installed VST3 is precisely the same, though (binary compared). I did not check other plugin formats.
The available update for Pedalz appears to be okay (close to the installed version), but I cannot find that specific version.
Edit: I see that I accidentally installed the Audio Unit, and its version is 2.2.0.
It becomes rather complex when different plugin formats of the same plugin have different version numbers.
I suppose it's not possible to display the available updates at a plugin format level instead of a plugin level.
