Good point, I always assumed it would stay as it is, a pretty much painless affair and probably as good as anything else.
But I would also drop it faster than a hot potatoe if they went the dongle way
(what's pace? I've read it's very bad, but don't know what it is)

Well, I haven't read anything about Mackie's plan on T2 distribution... but if you know it to be download, I'll take your word for ithaydxn wrote:i'd like to see how mackie would pull-off having a downloadable dongle
As I said, I assumed it would be the same as now, and will continue to do so until word from Mackie to the contrary.

ah an interesting point.
yeah, i'd assumed that it would be the same as now too.
mind you, there IS going to be a discount for T1 users. and, pretty much all T1 users obtained their copy from the internet via a download (excepting any original T1:NFR cds from mackie or expo cds), which means that a solely boxed+CD'd version is not likely at all. i'm sure mackie will delight us with a slick boxed package tho!
but i can't imagine them willingly giving each and every one of us a big discount for a big-ol'-box requirement!
i'd be stunned if they whopped us in the face with a dongle! [yes, i'm sure you can imagine!]

No Dongle. No Pace. No Problem.
It's basically the same as before.
