I'm a Cubase 14 user. Can anyone confirm that the updates available for Melodyne work on updating the free Melodyne Essential that comes with Cubase?

I have never heard of any restrictions when upgrading from Essentials when it was bundled for free.
The whole point of them giving it away is in the hope that people upgrade I suspect.

The easy way to confirm is to register it and see if they offer an upgrade via your account.
If so, you can then usually buy it cheaper elsewhere.

I have upgraded twice (essential > assistant > editor) since I got a free Melodyne once with something (can't remember what) and no issues several years later.

I think I only tried Iris 2 twice. I didn't find it the most intuitive (compared to Vitral or Pigments, which is what I currently use).
