Loop-in and loop-out markers: Is dragging the only way to reposition them?

Regarding the loop-in and loop-out markers on the time bar: Is dragging them the only way to reposition them? I ask, because if those markers are, say, near the very beginning of your project and you are working on a section near the end, and want to have those markers above the section you are working on, it would be really handy of you didn't have to zoom out and then drag each marker all the way along the time bar, to position them where you need them. It's not difficult to do that, but is there a quicker way, such as a shortcut key that you can hold down while drag-selecting a portion of the time bar, above the section you are working on, so that the loop-in and loop-out markers appear right there? Thank you.

There are keyboard shortcuts "i" for setting the IN marker, "o" for the OUT marker, and "a" for stting both around a selection.
Well, it could be possible that I changed them myself to these letters? Or I created them for a Macro? Don't remember.
Just go to SETTINGS - Keyboard Shortcuts and look through the list and find all the functions which could be addressed by a shortcut.
Additionally, there is a pinned thread of posts at the top of this sub-forum, which has the title "Compilation of Working Macros": "viewtopic.php?t=500416". In there you find many more hints on what you could make available.

There is a macro/shortcut for 'loop follows selection ' or something to that effect. So you can set the loop markers by clicking on a clip, including marker clips I believe. I haven't used it for a while, so I'm assuming it hasn't changed, but have a search through the shortcut settings.

Ally, you can also assign number to your markers. Drag a new clip to the Marker ribbon at the top of your screen.
Using the Properties pane (the "useful mode"), you can assign it a number. Type that number on your keyboard, and the playhead will jump to that spot. You can also assign it a friendly name and a color.
