Neat sound, but it seems to make the same sounds no matter what synth sounds I put into it. Is this a limitation of the free version?

I think the limitations of the excite stuff is just that you can not use the advanced tab. It’s more of a player for presets type thing.

It's pretty good, but honestly, the most unique features it has are the gate and repeater.
The rest of the stuff is pretty common amongst the current field of granular effects.
e.g. scrubbing through the granular buffer via motion capture or whatever. Additionally,
this only has 2 grain emitters where something like Grainscaper has 4 and something like
BEAM has capacity for many more than that (minus the mocap).

IMHO, it depends on what a user prefers, someone like myself enjoys messing with
that stuff and is not concerned about overlap, or the fact that something like BEAM
from Lunacy, honestly, outclasses this and others at nearly every turn, from sound
and graphics quality, to efficiency.

If I was worried about that kind of thing, BEAM would be pretty much all I would need.
Of course, it goes without saying that BEAM costs quite a bit more than this, especially
with the free lite version as listed earlier.

At any rate, I think this is definitely worth $20...

Those guys over at UJAM are very nice.
I purchased the Beatmaker 3 upgrade for 19.
I really should have purchased the CHROMED KIT for 29, which would have included Beatmaker 3.
I wrote to UJAM and they sent me a CODE so I could add the CHROMED KIT for the difference ie 10.
Nice touch!

Seeing as you can buy older versions of V Collection for the same price, it seems pointless to pay this for Analog Lab Pro.

I got Analog Lab bundled with a Keylab keyboard back around the time I got V Collection 5 and it seems to have been updated every time there’s a new V Collection released, I have never had to pay for it to be upgraded. Not sure if that’s a standard thing or not.
