Hi Folks,

We have now created a new "Tutorial on Mix Text Sequencing" (https://wotja.com/tutorials/item/mix-te ... ncing.html) for any of you who are curious as to how we did "The Magic of Wotja" video example here (https://wotja.com/music/#share-video).

In 25.2.0 we made it much easier to do create something like this with changes to 4 of the includes Schemas and the ability to import from Clipboard text that can be used in Saved Text Sections.

We hope some of you are inspired one day to share some videos of what you are creating!

With this latest update, on my Samsung S9 FE Tablet I had to change my navigation buttons to swipe gestures because the play, mix, text, display, plug-ins and record buttons were stuck under the navigation buttons and not working. I also had to change the aspect ratio to 16:9 in order for it to work correctly. I did a backup of my Wotja files because I had to reinstall Wotja. But the backup files are not recognized by Wotja any longer, so those files are more than likely not useable anymore. Wotja however works fine on my phone with the latest update. I still need to check if the Windows version update works.

I thought I would let you know. I reset my tablet back to factory settings and reinstalled Wotja. I still have the same aspect ratio problems. I works fine on my phone and PC. I can send screenshots if needed. Also is there a way to backup Wotja files?

Hi again! Can you please get in touch via the Intermorphic Support page? We should then be able to dig-in to your display issue more easily via email.

Backing-up Wotja files on Android - I have just realised that we've not documented this, so we'll add it to the user guide. On your Samsung device, run the built-in Files app, and then view Internal storage > Documents > Wotja, where you should be able to see the files from Wotja. Do please let us know how you get on! (I don't think you'll need to use the Files Hamburger menu (top left), to select Settings and toggle Show hidden files). I've just verified this on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 running Android 12.

IMPROVEMENTS
- Plug-ins: Audio Output Setting > Audio Device shows the sample rate and estimated latency
- Plug-ins: For better synchronization with other tracks in a DAW the estimated latency of the Plug-in is now reported to a DAW that supports that (e.g. Ableton Live 12)
- Plug-ins: Added Audio Output Setting > Audio Block Count (previously only available in non-Plug-in variants)
- Plug-ins: Audio Output Setting > Audio Block Count can now be set down to 2 (previous limit was 3; new default is 20) - only use such a low value if you're pushing for minimum audio latency and be aware that doing so might lead to some Wotja audio break-up issues, especially with CPU intensive content
- Android: You can now use Audio Output Setting > Audio Device to select an Audio device (if one is detected)
- Android: New menu item "Export (backup) from Wotja..."
- Android: After "Import (restore) to Wotja..." is selected, and you have completed the import, an alert is shown telling you how many documents have been imported
- Display modes now show any mix-included background image using an aspect fill instead of a stretch fill
- Other minor improvements

FIXED
- Desktop Plug-ins: Cmd-W no longer closes the Documents Window
- Android: Soft navigation bar wasn't properly supported (note that Wotja now runs in "full screen" mode - swipe up from bottom, or down from top, to reveal any 3 button soft Navigation bar)
- Android: UI Scaling Factor has been re-implemented & matches behaviour on the other platforms
- Android: Fixed crash report detection
- Incorrect display of an image in a mix when the mix was played in URI Player and the device orientation changed
- Other minor fixes

CHANGED
- Plug-ins: Audio Block Size for all OS now 512 by default (was 1024 for Windows, 512 for Apple)
- Plug-ins: Audio Block Count for all OS now 20 by default

Followed the link to the windows one time buy....

And do you know what foolish me expects (after all these years...) ?

A link to an option to simply BUY Wotja 26...

What I get (as I should know....): help center with hundreds of sites and explanations and....NO, I dont want to know at this point WHAT a Pro buy is, I simply wanted to BUY 26 Pro...

Give me a direct link HERE (maybe with version 3X...) to buy the stuff and I might think about it again....

Hi

Wotja is a free app these days (with free updates), and has been for 3 years now. We cannot go back to a paid-for version (the last one of those was in the Wotja 22 product cycle).

Pro mode is now unlocked by IAP.

The Pro XX One Time Buy (OTB) IAP option is the closest we can get to a paid-for version equivalent and it permanently unlocks the relevant Pro XX mode.

This approach is in fact actually BETTER as, even if you never make another purchase, you in effect get all general Improvements we ever make for free (which was never the case with a paid-for version which only got updated during the year in question)!

You can then focus on whether you need or want to use any New Features in any major new version and thus Go Pro (https://wotja.com/help/#pro-go) in that year, or not.

I think you are referring to the IAPs (In-App Purchases) not being available, e.g. the Pro 26 One Time Buy IAP.

There was an issue with the In-App Store in Wotja for Windows 26.0.0 (sorry!), but our latest hot fix (26.0.1) fixes that and is now live/available to download.

Once you have 26.0.1 installed then the In-App Store should work again.
