Bitwig Roto Control Device / Plugin JSON Repo thread

Now that the official beta has dropped https://www.melbourneinstruments.com/roto#BETA with Bitwig support it would seem helpful if there was a central crowd sourced repo for device/plugin mappings. If anyone can point me to one, that would be awesome, otherwise let’s build one here. Bitwiggers doesn’t seem appropriate as it’s focussed on presets, devices and clips.
Posts should be titled with the name of the Bitwig device or third party plugin (perhaps version) and attach the exported JSON from the Roto Control app, optionally indicating which parameters are mapped. Each device / plugin might have multiple different mappings / JSONs, but duplicates should be avoided.
Otherwise, discussion of Bitwig and Roto Control should be held elsewhere.
My Roto Control just arrived and I’ll be posting a few here in the coming days.

You shouldn’t need to create specific mappings if you’re using this with Bitwig - that’s the beauty of device panels. As long as your 8 knob controller is setup with a standard MIDI 8 knob controller configuration in Bitwig (I assume it does as it already has its own script) any device loaded that has a device map setup will automatically work with it, that includes all native devices and lots of plugins we have created maps for in that thread

I spent some time looking at the differences between what you get with Remote Controls and Roto Control JSON mappings and so far it seems to be:
Roto Control mappings can include:
MIDI mappings for hardware as well as software
Stepped parameters with tactile feedback on pots
Coloured parameter names on OLED display
So, I'm leaning towards using Remote Controls for my purposes. I'm strictly ITB, so dont use hardware and I can live without the tactic feedback and coloured parameter names.
The setup guide describes how if Remote Controls exist then it will use those first, however if they're hidden you can map additional paramerers:
https://static1.squarespace.com/static/ ... ontrol.pdf
Roto Control mappings are flashed onto Roto Control device, not stored in Bitwig, making it possible to share between machines and DAW's, but not something that's important to me, but it's limited to a maximum of 64, where Remote Controls have no such limits.
There's probably some more differences besides, but for now I'm happy to use / modify Remote Controls.

You do get tactic feedback/stepped parameters with remote controls automatically. Try an arpeggiator for example.
imho this tactic feedback makes all the difference and is totally unique to roto control.

Yes, that's true for Bitwig Devices, but not for Third party Plugins. But yes, the tactic feedback, pot limits and steps are a great addition; really feels like you're playing with an instrument.

PotenzaDSP Amigo Sampler Roto Control Mapping, just uncompress and import using the Roto Control App.

AudioModern Riffer VST3 on Mac Arm doesn't have any automatable parameters, but it has MIDI support, so created a Roto Control MIDI Mapping as a bit of an experiment.
Just uncompress and import using the Roto Control App, then configure the MIDI mappings in Riffer. If anyone knows where Riffer stores it's MIDI mappings, let me know and I can provide, couldn't find it.

Acid V Supplemental Roto Control Mapping proof of concept.
Use the Bitwig Remote control (available here download/file.php?id=66004) for the majority of mappings and swap to the Roto Control specific mapping (press left and right arrow simultaneously) so you can adjust the Distortion Type using a pot with tactile feedback to step between the 14 distortion types.

Transit 2 Supplemental Roto Control Mapping.
Same idea as above; hybrid Remote Control download/file.php?id=66052 and Roto Control mapping
Roto Control mapping uses Button Pushes to activate Gate or Sequencer values in appropriate presets.

Major impact for Roto specific mappings are the ability to send MIDI notes and program changes
• Send MIDI Notes via Roto-Control buttons in MIDI Mode.
• Send Program Change with Bank Select via Roto-Control buttons in MIDI Mode.
• Group tracks with fold/unfold actions via Roto-Control supported in Ableton Live and Bitwig Studio (see notes below).
• Manual mapping and customization of Ableton Live racks and macros now possible (see notes below).
• Roto-Control knobs now have a center indent haptic option in PLUGIN and MIDI Modes.
• Roto-Control Setup App now compatible with both Ableton Live and Bitwig Studio.
• Roto-Control now compatible with Linux for use with Bitwig (see Linux Set-up Guide for more details).

This one is pretty special when paired with another instrument.

Out of curiosity I went digging and found a MIDI mappings file for Playbeat that I've now added to the zip.
If anyone is willing to test this and report back that would be useful, by placing the MidiMappings.amx file in this folder. Of course if you already have any MIDI mappings, this has to potential to overide those, so use with caution. I have not yet been able to verify if this will work as intended and allow the easy import of the mapped MIDI CC values, or other MIDI settings.
