I really hate those kinds of plugins. Really, I'll never download it, but, it worked for me. Just thought I'd help out with the data collection. Just grabbed it a minute or so ago.

Yeah... I cringe even looking at this type of UI, especially the lack of clearly defined elements/sections, and use of pastels. I've never used any of them. I did however want to test the code by copy/pasting directly from pekbro's post, and it worked fine. Haven't downloaded it though.

The full versions are actually kind of interesting, on the editing side the sampler is pretty neat,
though I've never tried to make anything as yet.

I own a couple of them, drums mostly. They are similar to the ujam stuff in the way that they
work, e.g. phrase sequencing and whatnot. They are a bit heavy cpu-wise, I'm not convinced
that excite is the best at graphics programming. Unlike say, Lunacy Audio who usually does a presentation at SIGRAPH every year.
