Has anyone used this plugin? Am I missing something?
  • I put it on the master for testing and run audio signals through it.
  • The Mix is set to 100%
  • I adjust the threshold and/or the Hysteresis values to any amount
  • I adjust the Attack, Hold, Release, Reduction settings
  • I try all the presets. Some increase the audio signal, none reduce it or have a gate effect.
  • I try other gate effects on the Master just to make sure it's not issue with my DAW. They work fine.
Anyone know how to make this work, or if I am missing something totally?

running v1.6.2 on apple silicon, MacOS Sequoia.. works fine here.. does what is expected.

I've had the same issue since I purchased this plugin. First I installed it with the Installation Manager, realized it didn't work, and then I downloaded standalone, and it still doesn't work.

It has all worked just fine for me. Windows 7 and 10 VST 2 and 3 on multiple hosts. The main guy from unfiltered audio is usually pretty easy to find. Might be worth reaching out. I think his name here is "the lizard".

never had any issue with it. please don’t be offended by this question, but how familiar are you with the intricacies of setting up a noise gate properly? the only reason i ask is that with plugins out there like kilohearts trance gate and other more rhythmically minded creative effects, i’ve encountered on a couple occasions people thinking they were working with something like that, having never worked with a noise gate at all. just trying to eliminate that possibility at least. i’m assuming that’s not the case as playing with the settings should’ve done something eventually but you never know

Works here in Reaper, but it can be finicky to get the routing set up correctly. The process with Unfiltered A. is just a little different than most of the other stuff I use.

One must route the second pair of outputs to an empty channel and mute it. By default it sends the wet and delta channels to the same outputs, making it appear as if it’s doing nothing.

I reported this behaviour 5+ years ago, was told it would be fixed in the next version. It never was.

The plugin just straight up doesn't work in FL Studio. I contacted the devs about this in 2019 and they weren't interested in fixing it at the time. Sounds like they never bothered since.
