I think samples here = presets. So they were in the documents, right? And I'm not sure if there's a way to move them. But you can move the Documents folder along with everything in it. Or rather change it's location in the windows settings. Or maybe just try creating a symlink.Dirtgrain wrote: Tue Jul 15, 2025 12:05 am It seems I cannot get Karanyi Lo-Fi Keys to find where I moved its samples to. The install put the samples on my main drive, but it's pretty full, and I have to keep that thing below a storage threshold or malfunctions occur. I could not find a way in the plugin to look in a different folder location (Windows 10). Did I miss a menu somewhere?

Does anyone actually use their software? I got their glitch plugin some time ago and the installer seemed very large and buggy and I never got further than that.

I tried their reverb, which I had heard good things about due to its unique IRs, but it was really buggy on my system. I haven't heard others complain about it, so it could have just been my setup, but I was having a lot of issues with both the UI and sound.chrisstiles wrote: Thu Jul 17, 2025 4:44 pm Does anyone actually use their software? That’s a great deal for me, $99 to upgrade from v3.5.

What the difference between these two:
I'm really trying not to spend any money on software right now but damn it I may not be able to resist this one.

They are far less wonky for me these days, I like a few of them pretty well. Still not perfect.chrisstiles wrote: Thu Jul 17, 2025 4:44 pm Does anyone actually use their software? Try them out, all you gotta do if interested. They are actually pretty interesting imo, if you
can get around their design quirkiness. IMO, at least a few are worth a try.
*Dunno if I'd pay the full asking price for them, but tbh I have the bulk of them and haven't
paid a cent in many years. They are not hard to get either free or at severe discount.
I am impressed with their progress after all this time, which is why I'm bothering to say so.

Ahh I see thanks. Same included products just different qualifications. I own T-Racks Max so qualify for the MAXgrade.Uncle E wrote: Fri Jul 18, 2025 3:33 am MAXgrade upgrades any MAX bundle, including older versions of Total Studio MAX.

A lot of us have most of the IK stuff from their past group buys. For me, the value for this deal was to upgrade from Tonex SE to Tonex Max with the additional nine Signature expansions added. I don't think IK has had a deal anywhere close to this in the past, and Tonex is their hottest software, so I'd be surprised if they undercut it any time soon.
Pianoverse is probably cool, too.
Edit: This deal would set you up to get a Tonex One when they go on sale on BF or the holidays, then maybe add an Airstep Tonex controller for functionality pretty near to the full Tonex pedal.

For European customers buying the Maxgrade from AudioDeluxe is probably cheaper since IK Multimedia is "punishing" the European customers with VAT (up to 25% depending on country), and you are also forced to buy in Euro instead of USD, which we know make a difference as well.gaf_thit wrote: Fri Jul 18, 2025 7:09 amThanks a lot for putting gas on my G.A.S, so I couldn't resist.XorXisT wrote: Fri Jul 18, 2025 1:45 amUsing the code BERKLEEIK give you 20% OFF.Examigan wrote: Thu Jul 17, 2025 11:38 pmI think you meant v5, not 4.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote: Thu Jul 17, 2025 12:28 am Total Studio 4 MAX from $/€99.99 https://www.ikmultimedia.com/news/?id=T ... zyDeal2025![]()
