Blog note:
Encountered a difficult issue regarding the timing of MIDI recordings.
It already took many days to r&d a proper solution, hence the silence of the last days.
Getting closer to a proper solution.
Quite an unexpected situation just before M10 release, but this issue was too serious not to resolve it.
Talk soon.

Thanks, Jo. Your prompt attention to bug fixes and general improvements is one of the many great things about Mulab.MuTools wrote: Fri Jul 18, 2025 10:15 am Blog note:

Hi there
I have a project song with some vocals racks, with many plugins
When I try to RENDER CLIPS AS NEW AUDIO CLIP of selected tracks, in order I disable plugins and set volume at 0 to render the same file with same gain and sound.
The process is very very slow, like exporting the whole song: strange, since I'm exporting a single wav file without plugins.
feature request:
I have several short vocal recordings/takes on one track: Is it possible to render a new audio clip that start at the left loop position and ends at the right loop position ? like a full stem, to be clear
by now, the new audio clip starts at the first recording
thanks in advance

OK, at this point I realized I posted it in the wrong section.
However, as a long-time user and buyer, I would have expected a minimum amount of attention.

MuLab App M10.0.74 beta for Windows 64 bit and MacOS is available on https://www.mutools.com/mulab/app/lates ... /beta.html
What's changed:
What's changed:
- Live MIDI recording suffered from a timing issue, especially when using a larger audio engine buffer size. This issue was mostly hidden when using a normal audio engine buffer size and auto-quantize was on, but not so for recording MIDI controllers.
This has been fixed. All live MIDI recordings now have accurate timing.
Also when the composer has to apply latency compensation, even when using extreme large audio buffers, even with extreme tempo tracking, even all that combined high CPU load with possible audio drop outs, MIDI recording keeps accurate timing.
Also the play position display and play cursor lines now take the output latency into account and animate smoothly in all cases. - In certain cases pitch-bend events that occured after a PolySynth voice ended were not properly processed. Fixed.
- Modular Area: When there are many many cables, the GUI could become uncomfortably slower. Fixed by an optimization.
- Drawing value lines in the Event Graph Editor could result in end values with a floating point value rounding issue. Fixed. This function now also works faster.
- Oscilloscope: Several improvements.
- Latency Generator: Max latency increased to 5 secs.
- MuLab App for MacOS: Audio Setup now includes "Preferred Buffer Size".

Sorry for the delayed reply.Bax9 wrote: Wed Jul 16, 2025 9:57 am I have several short vocal recordings/takes on one track: Is it possible to render a new audio clip that start at the left loop position and ends at the right loop position ? like a full stem, to be clear

Simply select all clips you want to be included in the render, then do Render As New Audio Clip.
This will result in a new audio clip that includes all selected clips.

Hi Jo, good to see the project still getting better
I leave the video here.
This don't has to do with new features but recently discovered a bug.MuTools wrote: Wed Jul 23, 2025 5:14 am
Help with testing these latest improvements is much appreciated.

MuLab App M10.0.76 beta for Windows 64 bit and MacOS is available on https://www.mutools.com/mulab/app/lates ... /beta.html
What's changed:
What's changed:
- Fixed a bug in the new audio synchronization system for the Windows MME audio engine.
- Audio Setup now includes "Output Latency Correction".
This can be used to tweak the output latency reported by the audio device, which in some cases may be wrong. If you notice that MIDI recordings are always too early / too late, and also the play position displays have the same timing offset, decrease / increase the Output Latency Correction.

No bug.
You're looping a sequence where at loop end the pitch bend is down.
There is no pitch bend event at the start of the loop so it continues with the pitch bend down.
You can solve this by making sure the pitch bend is zero at loop end, or by inserting a zero pitch bend at loop start.

I thought, you'll set an PB 0 as default to begin of a track (because that fixed the problem). Because the screen shows a BP 0 at start of track. And if I need another value I've to place it manually (logical?)
now I saw, this is'nt in the LIST-Editor. So users have allways to double check in the list editor ... This is'nt comfortable, but ok.
see screenshots. seems, that allways to beginn of track is a pb 0.

There could be a parallel sequence clip in the composer with other PB events.
Another case: Sequences can also be triggered from MIDI, e.g. using the Sequence Player module.
You could have a sequence playing but do the pitch bend live.
You would not want your pitch bend to be reset automatically at loop start in such case.
Bottom line is that it's not sure that pitch bend should be reset to zero at loop start.
If you want that, just add a zero pitch bend event at loop start, if necessary.
