For European customers buying the Maxgrade from AudioDeluxe is probably cheaper since IK Multimedia is "punishing" the European customers with VAT (up to 25% depending on country), and you are also forced to buy in Euro instead of USD, which we know make a difference as well.

Hence the quote marks, but you totally ignored the currency situation, why do you have the same price in both EUR and USD, and not letting your customers choose which currency to purchase in? There is a 16% difference between the two.

Yeah, I understand what your trying to insinuate. Currently I don't have anything from them installed. But I own Studio 3.5 MAX, and because of, mostly, Pianoverse, I might spend some money on the Maxgrade. But definitely NEVER in EUR, so it's totally up to them what they want to do with their veiled threat.

I went for the MAXgrade deal even though it meant I have paid for some of the same plugins multiple times now. But if I calculate what I received for the price that I paid then it does work out to be a great deal. Just don't sit down and calculate what you've spent with them in total over the years and you'll be fine.

I can separate my love for the T-Racks plugins and some of the other IK software from their often times aggravating public presence and inadequate support.

EDIT: and now the Plugin Manager is stuck downloading the rest of TRacks 6. I should know better than to try and download anything right after IK has a sale because god forbid they anticipate the server crush. Some day I'll learn.....

EDIT: OK as a public service, I figured out what the problem was when trying to install the Lurssen Mastering EQ.

If you had an older version of T-Racks 6 Max such as I did and you chose to exclude a plugin using IK's "Modules Manager" that choice is remembered.

I had previously chosen to exclude the Lurssen EQ since I didn't own it at the time so no need to have it installed or show up in the plugins list.

You have to go in to the Modules Manager and change that setting to allow the plugin to be installed. So if someone else runs into a probelm where a T-racks plugin won't install check there.
