Yeah, I understand what your trying to insinuate. Currently I don't have anything from them installed. But I own Studio 3.5 MAX, and because of, mostly, Pianoverse, I might spend some money on the Maxgrade. But definitely NEVER in EUR, so it's totally up to them what they want to do with their veiled threat.

I don't agree with all the negativity. If you don't want to upgrade, then don't. You can delete the files for the plugins you don't want, or are demo versions, etc.

You have to pick and choose the best time to upgrade with IK, and I still haven't yet from Studio MAX 3.5, but am really tempted now for $79. There is a lot there for that much $$.

I don't think they're that bad. I don't use two managers, so am not sure what that's about.
Most people these days have larger hard drives or SSDs, so it is not that big of a problem.

Also, you can delete the ones you don't actually own outright.
It really doesn't take that long.

A note on the Sonnox Soften offer from Focusrite - you can just paste the code straight into iLok - no need to install it first (which is what the instructions on their site tell you to do).
