It does include a new effect, so as much as it's a minor update, it's fair. It would be far more fair if they offered the UI update to 5.4 as well though as a free patch.

I have Echoboy, Crystallizer, Phase Mistress and Space Blender. Updating was free.

Did you try going into 'My Products' and clicking the Refresh/Sync button? That brought it down to 19 for me.

No I paid $19 too and had everything

But to me since I got SpaceBlender for free, got a great deal on the update to Superplate as well as all the littles I thought it was a very reasonable price to pay

I got a great deal to upgrade rack and few individual plugs to full 5.5. Other than lite effects not being hi-dpi, and the odd graphic artefact, the other issue is I've experienced is occasional audio cut out meaning effects having to be reinserted (mac).

It's great to have them all combined in the new FX Rack, here is a quick piano improv with a custom patch and automated parameters (which now all work flawlessly in Logic).

This update is free for owners of individual Version 5 effects. For all the details, refer to our Release Log.

We also have a V5.5 bundle upgrade available (which is not free, but worth it).

And so those of us (loyal) to have the whole bundle, we don't get the UI upgrade as the bundle is stuck on 5.4 until you upgrade. Maybe you can somehow upgrade the individual effects for just the UI, but it wasn't clear in any way.

Soundtoys Plugins still not resizable?!?! "there are no plans currently to implement resizable GUIs for our plug-ins"
