I was adjusting the feedback parameter for Valhalla Delay in an Ableton Live set using the Maschine midi remote script below and had no issues.

I also briefly tried it with Push 2 the other day and didn’t notice any issues there either.

Thank you. Today I will get in touch with the support as well. I really hope they can sort out the bug.Calagan wrote: Sun Jun 01, 2025 6:55 am I did send an email to the support today.
If someone wants to check the issue, I also did 2 short videos I uploaded on youtube (unlisted) :
It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

This reference sheet really helped me for those times when I worked on a preset in a particular mode for over an hour, only to switch to a different mode and have the preset all of a sudden sound better than the previous hour's work.

Crud, just noticed a few of the modes actually have ducking and wow & flutter, but they were not mentioned in the description.

Two new algos. Chrome tape and analog.
Chrome is a less noisy version of the tap mode and Analog is a variant of the BBD mode which is cleaner, brighter and has warmer saturation.

There is some kind of „known“ issue, that Live doesn‘t work corrext with plugins and automation. E.g. there are similar problems with HALion. Sounds pretty similar, because this is also an issue, where the parameter after reloading the project just goes from 0..1noiseresearch wrote: Thu May 29, 2025 3:42 pmOut of curiosity I tried the VST2 version of Valhalla Delay. Slightly different but nearly similar issues. Automation is nearly unusable.noiseresearch wrote: Wed May 28, 2025 7:43 pm I wish Valhalla DSP would solve the automation bug most (all?) products having since ages. Talking about VST3. Informed Valhalla about this bug already a couple of time over the years without response.
Win 10 64 bit, Live 12, Reaper 7. Valhalla DSP: Delay, UberMod, Supermassive, Spacemodulator, VintageVerb.
The issue I have is with automating (Live and Reaper), controlling Valhalla DSP plug-ins with Push 3 (Live), using the plug-ins within a macro-mapped rack (Live). A lot of value jumping / and or unresponsive parameters. It's buggy unlike any other VST3 I use.
See also my older post about this issue: viewtopic.php?p=9016117#p9016117
The workaround for that was to put the plugin in a group and map a remote control macro to the according parameter. Of course it‘s not convenient, but at least it works.
Would that work for you either?

It was easy to make, once I discovered on Mac that when you take a custom size screenshot (shift + command + 4) then click on the resulting preview that shows up in the lower right hand corner, you can actually copy the text even though it's an image. Then you can just delete that image from there, and paste the text onto the document. That's how I got all the descriptions, didn't take long at all.
I don't have Supermassive though, and don't have plans to download it.
