I took your advice and scanned all of his comments for the past three days. Not a single one is trolling. At worst, he's showing a bit of overenthusiasm with his thread about Mackie's site being down, but none of that can be construed to be posted intentionally to piss people off. He's not knocking the software or being insulting.

You, however, ARE trolling with your drum pedal thread, intentionally baiting him for your own amusement. Oh, the irony.

Seriously, though, as both djsubject and myself have pointed out, what you and whyterabbit are referring to are his previous posts that some of the earlier-posted features indicated that there may have been a midi overhaul, and now he's just excited that the latest feature confirmed that suspicion.

Can't blame a guy for being excited and wanting to share, I say.

He's certainly ridiculously active on these forums, yes, and much of it is an attention-getting mechanism. If that's an annoyance, then I would suggest just not responding to him. Don't feed the troll, if you will. But he's only started two threads in three days, and the repetitive nature of his posts is somewhat exaggerated. I'm just saying there's a fine line between annoyance and abuse.

I think this is the crux of people's problems with ron: he/she/it posts here for attention, and it appears he's a bit schitzo as well. That's not to say he's always trolling to invoke negative responses, but he is always trying to draw attention to himself, which is just annoying really.
