I developed E-CutFilter300 because REAPER’s stock EQ lacks steep slopes, and while ReEQ offers steep slopes, its Butterworth HP/LP filters don’t allow Q adjustments. This plugin bridges that gap.

Features:
* Low-pass and high-pass filters with a true Butterworth response
* Multiple slope options: 6, 12, 18, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 96, and 120 dB/oct.
* GUI smooth Bypass button for toggling the effect on or off without audio clicks. Available for automation as “Bypass (Smooth)” in the parameter list.
* Output Gain (dB): Sets the final output level of the plugin from -20dB to +20dB to compensate for volume changes.
* Channel Modes: Apply filtering in Stereo, Mid, or Side modes.
* No zipper noise with slider automation.
* Minimal CPU usage.

You can grab it for $10 on Gumroad. All future updates are free, just make sure to use a valid email so I can send future updates to you.

This JSFX plugin can also be used in other DAWs through the open-source YSFX plugin. YSFX is available in VST3, AU, and CLAP formats for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Download YSFX here: https://github.com/JoepVanlier/ysfx/releases

Hi, Frequency and Q sliders now use a logarithmic scale for natural and more precise slider control, especially in the low end (of the frequency sliders) and in the lower values (of the Q sliders).

Hi, I have added channel mode options. You can now apply filtering in Stereo, Mid, or Side modes.

NB: Both the older and updated versions null 100% in a null test, as the underlying audio processing code and slider numbering remains unchanged. The new slider doesn't affect previous settings, so you can safely replace the old version with the new one in existing projects, and all your settings will be preserved.

The download link is still the same: https://windowsg.gumroad.com/l/cutfilter300
You can also use the original email you received to download the updated version at any time.
