Hey there,
i'm new to mulab and want to use it (for the moment) as a plugin inside cubase 14 to take advantage of its fantastic timestretch, but :
- mulab keeps starting one bar late (it starts on bar 2, basically)
- no sound when i import a loop of any kind
- the composer interface is way too big and don't seem to resize
I'm scratching this for two hours now and did not find anything, so...
Any idea ?
thanks,

Please check the time info given by the host, Cubase in this case.budweiser wrote: Sat Jul 26, 2025 11:09 am - mulab keeps starting one bar late (it starts on bar 2, basically)
You can monitor the host time info by right-clicking the host sync button a bit on the right of the tempo display.
Do you see the level meters going up/down inside MuLab Plugin itself?- no sound when i import a loop of any kind
If yes then could it be that the issue is the routing on host side?
You can resize the MuLab Plugin window via it's bottom-right corner.- the composer interface is way too big and don't seem to resize
Note that the host window itself also may do plug window resizing via the bottom-right corner so make sure to go a bit inward the window to grab MuLab Plugin's bottom-right corner.
Now if the bottom-right corner is out of screen, there is an SOS way to compact MuLab Plugin's editor: Right-click the MuLab main menu button at the top-left.
If any questions left, just ask.

Thanks for responding.
- the reported host time seems ok (see picture)
- the newly created audio track do not seems to be automatically wired in the audio out (i can hear the metronome but not the loop i dragged on the track)
- the composer interface is so big at start i just can't access the bottom right corner...
edit : oops, just saw the right click trick that worked perfectly !

ok, i found a way by dragging the loop on a newly created audio track. I need to dig the modular window and practice a bit.
Still starts on bar 2, tho.

So Cubase is at 1.1.0, MuLab is at 1.1.0, then when you start Cubase, MuLab suddenly jumps to 2.1.0 and then starts playing in perfect sync with Cubase except there still is 1 bar offset?

Thx for the screen video, that helps
Now please renew that video but with MuLab's host sync monitor window fully included.
