I have to agree with all of the above. This was the first thing I listened to after a rough day. The lyrics are uplifting and what I needed to hear. The production is flawless. Everything is well balanced but I like how the guitar steps to the front at the right time. You put some time and thought into this. Too often I hear stuff that sounds automated and uninspired. I miss the days when a band rehearsed hard and went into the studio and nailed it in one take. I wish there were more bands these days. Young people don’t know what they’re missing. Nice track!

Ooo - Aaa - thank you very much, Genetic_Junk! :hyper:

Solid contemplative anthem enroe—really enjoyed it.
When the data is corrupt in the Desert of the Real, Beyond the Last Thought, where intuition reigns, is the solace that will embolden and strengthen the soul, giving hope once more to this age of failing technique. eassae.com

Thanks, multree!

Yeeees - we also read your first, initial text. We especially
appreciate your free and honest opinion and your impressions
of our song "We dare to go."

We did indeed record the tracks acoustically with a
microphone, but this is still a studio production. And that
means all the tracks have been optimized through overdubbing
and corrections. Perhaps we went too far here. Because with
all that work — all night long — you eventually hear the fleas
coughing — and then you correct them, too. Until it sounds
too robotic and straight — perhaps.

But I also have to say: Our primary goal isn't to make it sound
"live." Rather, it's to be optimized so that the song sinks into
the subconscious — as if by itself — without any obstacles.
And lingers there for a while.

------------------------------------------------------------------

In any case: The topic of "Production meticulousness -
when is it too much?" is an interesting one - perhaps for
a separate thread.

We thank you for your suggestion and your contribution!
:)

This sounds really good. Good choices of level balances and i really like the stereo picture. Well done!
it is better to have a track with some mistakes than a track without any soul
myself in 2022

We try our best to turn a live song into a song that we enjoy
listening to again and again, even through small speakers.
We seem to have partially succeeded in doing that.

Pauliworld, those are very kind, encouraging words!
Thank you, thank you! :D

Frantz wrote: Mon May 26, 2025 12:46 am This is a strong song that is well performed and produced. I think it is even more polished than some your previous efforts. Every sound is well balanced in the mix. I think the mix has also more dynamic range which makes repeated listens more enjoyable. The only minor complaint is when singing the highest notes (the word "alley") it sounds artificial due to pitch correction.

The lyrics are more straightforward than your usual offerings. It doesn't present the song's characters with decisions or philosophical challenges but that is fine. Just a nice smooth listen. Excellent work. :tu:
Thank you Frantz - especially for your careful listening and detailed feedback.
Yes, this one is more "straighforward", but let's see ... :)

Again, cool song. I really like your voice; I'd love to hear it with just reverb.

That is REALLY cool. Love the vocals. How the hell were they processed?

I could say so much about this track but I'd be typing all day. This is one of the best pieces of music I've heard in a long time. I hear a definite 60s psychedelic influence mixed with a bit of an early 2000s Postal Service vibe.

Thank you for this infectious piece of ear candy.

I really needed to smile today.

Oh thank you, Bunny_boy.

Exactly, I know you from the "speed of light" thread. Funny
– but we "enroe" mainly make music. Besides the physics
talk. :)
