wagtunes,
Now listening to "The Way Of Peace": This has some Beatle-esque elements with the handpicked electric guitar (sounds real to me) and the strings, especially the low pitch ones.....and the flute too. I have to assume the vocals are AI; I hear elements of your natural voice in the female vocals; they sound quite good. The audio quality and melodies are excellent per usual. Very nice song and recording! What's the story on the Music For World Peace Organization? As Ringo would say, "Peace and Love!"

Hi Aaron. Not much of a story to tell. They're a small organization that promotes world peace and does a lot of it through music. I'm just one of their many writers. They post on Spotify and I'm still waiting for my first payment from them. Started fairly recently so I don't expect much to start.

I'll keep you posted on any major developments.

Anyway, I know you sometimes listen to a second track of mine. If you do, check out Toys. I think you'll love it. It's very catchy.

Going to check out your music now.

8th track from my upcoming CD "Exit Stage Left"

This one was a mixing nightmare with all the backing vocals and orchestration.

wagtunes,
Now listening to "Toys": for what it's worth, whether it is desired or not, I am not detecting elements of wagtunes' natural vocals; I assume they are all AI. The vocals sound quite good: it's good you layered them as much as you did. You have the wagtunes signature piano. The melodies are all very good: with them peaking out in goodness when you have the strings also playing; in my opinion. Nice song, audio quality, and recording! The flute-like instrument is a bit Beatle-esque for me (good). The drums sound good too.

Thanks Aaron. I really worked hard on this one. Glad you liked it.

Nice track Image Maybe a little extra reverb on your voice (the parts before you sing "Wall of Text").

Thanks Peter. I actually wanted the verses to be totally dry so that there was a big contrast between the verse and chorus. So that was intentional by design.

Something a little different from me. Kind of a rap anthem. Lots of vocals on this one.

I really liked this one. I'm kinda impressed, that was well different from what I expected. :) are the vocals all recorded by yourself? The growled lines before the chorus gave a very cool contrast :) And of course it's a good message, I dig that very much

that was the first Song of you that I listened to, I'll check out some of the ones you posted before for sure :P :ud:

Thanks for the listen. The vocals are all me singing and then the voice tracks processed through AI. This is something fairly recent for me as I used to just use my own voice for all my songs. I think the AI sounds much better.

Thanks for the clarification. AI voice processing is a topic that I'm highly unfamiliar with, but I'm intrigued to learn more. I wouldn't have thought that though, the quality of the vocals on your New tune is really good and convincing! :phones:

I'll have to listen to the older Songs where you used your own voice unedited to get an idea what exactly that can do to a vocal track. Is the AI plugin just doing some Pitch correction or is it like changing the tone and timbre of your voice / replacing it by someone else's voice?

(I apologize inbefore for any language errors and hope to be understandable and clear with my questions. It's just that english isn't my first language and I 'm in the process of improving my audio and DSP vocabulary  )

There are many ways to do AI vocals. What I do is the following:

1. I record my voice singing the song.

2. I process the vocal into a wav file.

3. I upload the wav file to audimee.com.

4. I pick one of their "singers" to use for the vocal.

5. I press the convert button on the site and it creates a new wav file of my vocal with the AI voice in its place which I can then download to my PC.

6. After downloading, I replace the vocal in my DAW with the newly created vocal.

Now, there is also a vocal plugin SoundID VoiceAI by Sonarworks. With that, you simply load the plugin as an FX on your vocal track, pick the voice you want, and it converts your vocal on the fly in real time.

I haven't purchased that yet but intend to in order to see the difference.

If you want to hear my real voice, here is one of my better songs where my voice sounds pretty decent. It doesn't always.
