Repro-1/5 reset LFO on note trigger

I am bit confused by how this is understated in the manual. So after experimenting a bit, I come to the conclusion that if I wanted LFO to be retriggered on new notes, on Repro-1 my only option is to use host-synced lfo, and on Repro-5 this is just plain impossible. Is that right? Sorry if I am inquiring about some trivial thing, but searching the forum did not yield relevant discussions.

The reference hardware Repro-5 is modelled after has only 1 LFO that is shared by all voices. That's part of its sonic character.
The clock was an addition in Repro-1, you can read about it in the user guide. It indeed resets on Note On, while the LFO does not.
We're open to make things like these a bit more flexible in the future, like we recently added a second pair of ModMatrix slots. It's a bit of a struggle to find a balance between authenticity and feature wishes. We don't want to go too far.

thanks for clearing this up! to be honest, I am not much of a hardware connoisseur and have never met the hardware synth repro is made after in real life, I just liked how repro sounded "from first principles". I was just a bit confused about this choice and was wondering if I maybe am missing something. Diva is also modelled on a bunch of (components of) classic hardware synthesizers, but it consistently offers lfo retrig on new notes. Yeah, Diva and Repro have been developed with two different goals. Diva is more abstract, caters wider ground and is not necessarily a 1:1 reproduction of any individual vintage synth. But that is what Repro is. Both have their charm, their strengths and weaknesses.
Anyhow, in the beginning we were very pedantic about Repro in order to establish just how spot on it was modelled. In the meantime we're considering to surgically add a few more options, if it makes Repro-1/5 a better synth. A per-voice LFO setting for Repro-5 would certainly be such a thing. However until we can seriously think about it, we're consumed with Zebra 3.
