This is really toxic and it's no surprise many developers do not like to interact on kvr when this is what people say to them.Caine123 wrote: Wed Jul 23, 2025 8:22 pm yes always be happy to get something for free, never criticize if you get something free, especially dont ever doubt hollow announcements and strange acting of a dev/company. they only want to be nice to you, you are a consumer and dont demand something, if you buy it be happy what you get as it is and dont expect something.
Most people who create audio software tools do so because they're passionate about it, not because it's a good way to make money. Audio industry is generally a terrible choice to make money, if you're a developer.
Rapid works fine for me and if there's an additional update, cool, great. I liked the teaser video and would like to try those features at some point, but if it needs more time, that's fine. I don't need those features and I bought the product and enjoyed it long before those features existed.
If the developer doesn't want to come here and apologize because there's already people dogpiling and insulting before the apology is even made, well, I'm not shocked by the developer staying silent at all. Running a small business and also doing contract work means your time gets divided up in unexpected ways and sometimes your original plans to get something across the finish line have to be put on hold. I've been there many times.
