Most likely not. Most (if not all) of their legacy products have not gotten any love by the developer, at all.
Mac Mini M4 Pro | 14 Cores (10P/4E) | 48GB RAM | Studio One | Reason | Bitwig Studio | Logic Pro | FL Studio | Cubase Pro | Waveform | Reaper | Renoise | ~1000 VSTs/AUs | ~350 REs

They gott VST3, Apple Silicon support and I assume were tested for compatibility in Windows 11 though.

That's not love, that's just to be able to sell a few more licenses.

Air isn't any different than most large developers like NI etc. they have a developer turnover, the underlying code is very possibly a spaghetti mess that would require an entire rewrite. So the best that can be done is supporting it for new OS's, plugin formats and chips, like they did.

Even with U-He, Zebra 3 has taken ten plus years to come out, will not be backwards compatible with 2, and 2 will not get more than OS, chip and plugin format updates.

So with these things in mind, no, I think you're wrong, Air is aware that most people know Transfuser, Hybrid 3 etc. are at this point legacy products, I hardly think it's a money maker for them to update them, anymore than it will be for Urs to when Zebra 3 finally comes out.

AiR is different in that they sort of promised they would update their "legacy" plugins with resizable GUIs. They never did. Royal pity because Hybrid and XPand 2 are great, like some others too, but their tiny interface, awful preset browser (XPand) and I-lok licenses made me totally dump them.
Not to mention they never fixed some bugs...

The GUI thing is a PITA for sure. It goes back to the fact they don't make enough off of sales of it to justify the cost of a new GUI though. I mean flatly from what I know the underlying code of almost any instrument or FX plugin is universal, the code to make a delay a delay is not OS specific generally. The main difference is plugin format and GUI, so updating an old plugin like Hybrid3 is about plugin formats and GUI. Obviously the GUI is the most amount of work, and Air skipped on it.

It does blow, Loom II is one of my favorite plugins, but the GUI is tiny even on a 1080p monitor.

Loom is awsome , so ahead of its time ! Just like transfuser
