That sucks. I'll deal with Thomann all the time from now on. I bought my Novation from MS because it was 30€ cheaper than Thomann.
Hope you get it it sorted!

Cheers, much appreciated.
I now have the Oneroi I ordered from Thomann; I got it sent to my work address and it got there on Thursday, ie within a week of ordering. I wasnt able to get it till today, as Im only onsite Monday to Wednesday, but it was actually the thing I ordered.
(One other thing I noticed that Musicstore claim in several responses on TP; that they have disputed some feedback that talks about missing items because they 'weigh and photograph' all items packaged before sending them. So according to them, they should supposedly have a record of sending me the wrong thing from the day they sent it... but still wont initiate my refund.)

Thomann seems the most reliable, though if you were in the same position with them, they too would likely require physical possession to issue a refund.
They just wouldn't make such a boneheaded mistake in the first place.
I bought a few guitars from MS over the years. Three, I think. I've sold them all on. None of them were up to snuff.
And UPS is a bloody PITA.

Thomann have the same conditions as Musicstore state, saying that they'll refund on receipt or prood of return, whichever is earlier.Bombadil wrote: Mon Aug 11, 2025 9:41 am Thomann seems the most reliable, though if you were in the same position with them, they too would likely require physical possession to issue a refund.
They might actually adhere to them though.

Ive sent back one order where I'd ordered the wrong thing, but out of 3 or 4 purchases in the past 4-5 years, Ive not had any actual issues on their side.Is Anderton's any good?

Took another day for that it seems, as on wednesday day both musicstore and paypal took credit for giving me the refund. It actually showed on my paypal account yesterday morning, forgot to update this.

nor any of mine ever again. f**k knows what would have happened if the item had been lost, but at the very least they stated terms and conditions they refuse to honour.
and like i say, if they'd sent me a more expensive item than i'd paid for, rather than something 2/3 the cost, i suspect they'd manage to have been more amenable.
