Another idea for a very powerful feature.
Some DAWs have a Formula Module - that is a text field with access to input and output variables of the module + a 'time' variable. Write any formula you want (sophisticated LFOs, randomization, anything) - very powerful. Formulas can be im-/exported, exchanged, ...
