I don't have an LX480 and I'm using Windows 10 (not 11). I've tested several licensed "iLok" plugins (eg. SSL, Harrison) and they work fine with the MuLab 10 plugin.MuTools wrote: Thu Aug 14, 2025 1:14 pm LX480 works fine here in MuLab 10.0.83 on Windows.
Any other users who can report how LX480 behaves on their system in MuLab 10?

Does anyone else experience improper MIDI input behaviour with automatic MIDI input focus in M10?

Can you please be more specific?humanboeing wrote: Thu Aug 14, 2025 4:53 pm Does anyone else experience improper MIDI input behaviour with automatic MIDI input focus in M10?
What precisely are you experiencing?

At times MIDI events from my MIDI keyboard are not being sent properly to the focused module. I mean a complete cutoff, not just on random notes. Switching the focus to a different module does not help. The event monitor shows no event input when I investigate the issue. I restart Mulab to cope. I'm not sure what's causing this behaviour, it seems rather random and unfortunately I'm unable to spot a solid pattern, except for the fact that it never cuts me off while playing. There is a possibility that it's a misunderstanding on my part as I'm not that familiar with how MIDI and events work though. I'll share more if I find something.MuTools wrote: Thu Aug 14, 2025 4:54 pm Can you please be more specific?

the 'building overview' message is nice when you load your song, but why it only builds the tracks in your view?
-the tracks outside of the view are only loaded when i scroll down or up/or press the ° (to view the whole composition) and click inside the composer
basically, i don't want to see any 'loading' -or unloading (
) messages when my song is 'ready' to hit the road

Atoh, other users may say that they don't want to wait for building overviews for things that are not visible. Anyway, the audio overview files are only built once, until the audio file is changed. So it should only be a one time thing, even if you don't resave the project. (the OVW is saved anyway)tiger001 wrote: Fri Aug 15, 2025 1:19 pm the 'building overview' message is nice when you load your song, but why it only builds the tracks in your view?

wouldn't it be nice that this box (when you click on the rack output box) shows which output your rack is sending to ?
(maybe a little green dot or something)
especially helpful when you send your rack to multiple destinations, because now you can't see that from the composer

The OVW should never be rebuilt unless the related audio file has changed.

if i use this function after i saved my project (per your suggestion), will redundant audio files be removed from disk/project too ?
(i'm afraid that when i save first, then clear all non necessary files, then save again, those files will still remain on disk and clutter my folders /remain there forever
)

Click the function and it will show a dialog panel where you can set your choices about what to delete.
