Hey guys,
I just noticed that the Mackie site is up. All the pages seem to be displaying just the way they normally do on the internet, although I was shocked to see the T2 update page is unchanged...
...does anyone think this is significant?

Anybody care to tell me what "chat" means? Apart from the button that takes me to a page I can't make heads or tails out of, and that "chat" means "cat" in French I mean.

I think that the in-jokes on this thread, and the irony with which I started it, will probably be lost on the majority of people, who are far too sensible to follow the rather more nonsense threads that sometimes (well, daily

It's internet chat, aka IRC. Basically the same thing as instant messenger like AIM or Yahoo IM - real time conversation. Instead of those IM clients it generally uses an IRC client like mIRC or whetever has replaced it these days. Actually I guess AIM is what has replaced it these days. Beyond that I'm not much help because I never chat on the Internet. I know that some of these guys listen to a web radio broadcast on weekends and chat somewhere, but that's about all I know.

Thanks mn, I've seen the kvr page but didn't know what it was. Seems it need something called trillian or mirc, in any case, now that I know what it is I see I have no need of it.
